"We had a great evening at Gasthaus Zum Schwejk. Thanks to its design and interior design (open vaults, fireplace ovens), the host house sprays a very cozy and rustic ambience. The waiters were very friendly, accommodating and for an open conversation about work and everyday life. As an appetizer we had the mixed appetizer board twice, which was very diverse and tastefully excellent. I had the baked onion soup and was also very satisfied. The fourth person should not go empty. She didn't want an appetizer, but the waiter suggested a small part of the data in the bacon that wasn't on the map. She was very satisfied with the appetizer, which also tasted very well and did not appear on the bill. The main dinner was the lamb, the steak plate, the giant carnations in the clay pot and the pork medallions in red wine sauce. All main dishes were very tasty and the portion size was more than sufficient. Finally there was a dessert consisting of bright and dark mousse au Chocolat and Tiramisu, where the latter was very convincing. Overall, it was a very nice evening in Schwejk, with delicious dishes at a very good value for money."

I've eaten better. The steaks were good, the rest was just a bad one. It's good that I had ordered a salad before, and that was nothing special. The head seemed overwhelmed to order and complete service. The ambience is original in the basement. I even had a swing chair (one leg was shorter) .

This happened to me yesterday at the Zum Schwejk Inn in Lüdenscheid... I wanted to eat lamb. When ordering, the friendly service meant that the lamb car was unfortunately out, if I could decide something else, one would apologize for it with a dessert. Then I cleaned a steak plate that was really excellent. Then there was an apology, but not in the form of a dessert! I was asked if I could do the last half of the car. And this again with roast potatoes and beans, super-lecker and free. This is service, I liked it! Thank you. You see me again, even without Dessert:
