We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant and absolutely loved the apple and plum crumble. The service was great and we will definitely recommend this place. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. We rated the food and service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

Fantastic pub. Called at last minute on Saturday night and they were able to fit in a table of 6 at short notice. Service was great and food was excellent. Nice place, enjoyed the evening. Shame the proprietor isn't around for customer chats. Sadly and very surprisingly this pub does not allow dogs. So therefore my family and others in the village have to travel elsewhere where dogs are catered for. It is in an area that has tourism, dog walkers and lovely areas to visit. Its a very quiet pub and could be made more convivial, busy and a better atmosphere if dogs were allowed as in most other pubs in the area.

This charming neighborhood pub is a must-visit. We stopped in multiple times during our holiday and were always greeted by friendly and hospitable staff. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including a tasty Chickpea, sweet potato, and spinach curry that I particularly enjoyed. The Sunday lunch, while not a carvery, is still fantastic and you can opt for a smaller portion if you prefer. The selection of beers and wines is impressive and reasonably priced.
