Enjoyed a fish chip dinner with our dog in the garden. Had a glass of local cider, really friendly staff made our dog really welcome.

I had my birthday meal here at my man during the stay before place beautiful meal before the open fire. beautiful owners who were beautiful and chatting. Just great.

We had dinner here last night. Everyone had burgers of different types. My sister and I had lovely vegetarian burgers whilst my mum said her beef burger was delicious. Great food and a nice pub.

a nice cozy pub (it also does room that I think.) it was not at the night we visited. the beer was well held butcombe’s. that was delicious. the waiter was very friendly, efficient and discreet. what is on earth is not to like!

Visited this pub every evening while staying in the area. Staff were really friendly, there was a good atmosphere and both inside and outdoor seating was lovely. We ate on several occasions with the food being good and tasty although the portion size is quite...small. We would certainly return.

my daughter and son-in-law had her high-time breakfast at the wheelwrights arms last week and it was perfect. eating was fantastic, the team was amazing and the setting was just beautiful. the service of the entire team was exceptional and everyone went beyond and beyond. to make the day very special. my man and I were in the night before the high season at the venue and the accommodation was very comfortable and simply wonderful.

booked on recommendation of others. that was our first visit and I was really impressed. beautiful location. we received a real greeting at the arrival, although we were half an hour early. the owner was very friendly and engaged, the staff could not have been any more. attentive service was top class, like the filet steak and fish and chips. Not to mention the sticky toffee pudding! well made wheelwrights arms, we will be back soon. Thank you.

We stayed for 2 nites. The rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast was included but you pay £5 extra for a full English. The breakfast was very nice. The Inn has been taken over 4 months ago by new owners. They are a lovely couple...and if you need anything they will sort this out, also the staff as well. Our room had 2 sets of clean towels, Tea and Coffee facilities, bath robes. The shower was perfect and plenty of pressure. Bath is 10 mins away. The Inn is set in lovely surroundings. We will definitely come back and stay

Sunday lunch falls into two camps in my experience over-complicated, over-hip and small, or bland, big and stodgy. Last Sunday at the Wheelwrights Arms I enjoyed a superb Sunday roast that got just the right balance of flavour, concept and portion size. I was...initially reluctant to pay £17.50 for roast pork belly, but everything, including the excellent service, was so good I think it was worth it. You can drive to the pub or walk most of the way along the Kennet and Avon canal path, and you can also access it from the Two Tunnels Greenway walk. It was raining when we went so we couldn't sit in the lovely sunny garden, but no matter. The succulent and generous wodge of pork belly came with...
