"Absolutely love this place. We’ve started visiting this area over the last few months and The Paddle has become our favourite for brunch. (I keep meaning to put a review on trip advisor since our first visit). So much nicer than other places locally (Cliffhanger down the road has nicer views but the food and service here is so much better v busy with local people rather than passing tourists). The menu is interesting and there’s a shabby chic vibe. With the decor. The food though is so good. Very filling and very good quality. They do everything from a cooked breakfast to more contemporary things like smashed avocado on toast etc. nothing too much trouble and cater to gluten free etc. The staff service is faultless. Would advise to book as this place gets very busy. Coffee and smoothies are really delicious. Doggie friendly."

"We went for dinner at The Cliff House on Saturday night. Our three course meal was absolutely delicious, some of the best food we have ever had. The service was fantastic and the restaurant was warm and inviting. My partner had the venison and he said it was the best he had ever eaten! The sticky toffee pudding was incredible too. Highly recommend for a special dinner out. We will be back!"

"Ordered via Just Eat. Over an hour to arrive. Ordered Duck with pancakes, cold and 5 pancakes, sauce clearly came straight from a fridge. Chicken and cashew had no sauce, chicken was inedible as tough and because the egg fried rice was not delivered, ordered again and then 20 minutes later got plain rice which was cold and smelt off. Called the restaurant direct and was told ‘if you didn’t like it don’t order with us again’ Apparently waiting for a refund. May be environmental health should be informed about their delivery process?"
