The Sunday roast was not at all nice. We visited here a few years ago before the refurbishment was done and you had more choice and the food was good.

Service was awful and food was less than good! 3 of our party very ill after the meal! Only helpful member of staff was the manager who dealt with our complaint and agreed himself that it had been awful!! Will not be returning

Modern venue with decent menu but dining as a couple on a Saturday night proved to be a big mistake due to the loud noise from the adjoining bar and raucous behaviour of some of the customers which went unchecked by the management. Voir le carte

We went for a frying dinner and the meat was dry, eating not very hot and the bowl of the vegetables were over boiled, looked gray and wet. When this was a Carvery, it was fantastic, his such a shame that his downhill sin was renovated.

Nice for informal drinks and food. Football on but it is a sports bar so expect some noise. However it was a lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff really helpful. Had birthday drinks and snacks there recently and they went that extra mile for us.

We had a family dinner on a Sunday night. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly. The prices were higher than expected, but the restaurant had a nice atmosphere with large screens showing sports and cinema-style seating. It had a vibe similar to an American hotel bar. The manager handled the removal of a difficult customer discreetly. Overall, it was nothing extraordinary, but I would likely return in the future.

The venue itself is very good, various areas around the bar are suitable for everyone. It is a shame that they have done away with Sunday Carvery, but the Roast was pretty good, lots of meat, individual bowls of veg, plates and Gravy pots were hot pierced. Out sticky toffee puds were a little gumsy, but the sauce and ice dissolved that. Can be a little loud, depending on when u go. We were there to watch Rugby, so it was a pretty loud afternoon, but we had expected that.

a table for a large group in advance for a Friday afternoon. only time available to book were 11 o'clock or 1pm, so decided to 1pm. Bar employees were very busy and stressed and clearly not happy to arrive over a large group and order eating individually. but I called for a week in advance to ask if we had to preorder a big group and the man I spoke with seemed only confused and said someone would call me back what they did not. we couldn't really order food together in the cash and then share payments, how would have been too complicated. it took a long time for all of us to order by 1 worker and consequently food came gradually and some took a long time. we were warned against when we arri...
