Lovely local restaurant with local catches. I had the hastings bass, which was on the special menu. It was good, but rather expensive at nearly £30. I don't think it was worth that. The fish was served skin up, so I didn't really taste the sauce much. We did order a side of creamed spinach, which went really but paid for as an additional side. Me and my wife had a beautiful meal last night, the food was divine and the service was excellent. Such a lovely restaurant!, Really quirky. I have lived here for years didn't no it was there can't believe it. Definitely will be going back. The staff were the most professional staff I have encountered in a restaurant in a long time and the food was excellent. It was nice that the gratuity was not automatically added to the bill. This place is a must visit whether you live in Hastings or you are just here for a day. It is a very relaxed atmosphere so you will feel overdressed if you arrive in your best suit or dress but so nice. The portions were generous and service was top drawer.
