"During my stay at the nearby Premier Inn, my companion and I decided to get some takeout for the first time in a while. This restaurant was quite busy, but I was impressed by the friendly staff who were always laughing and joking with each other and the customers. On multiple occasions, they even threw in a complimentary sausage with customers' orders. I initially thought this was just for regular customers, but when it was my turn to order, I was asked if I wanted anything else like prawn crackers, spring rolls, or sausage. I gratefully accepted a spring roll and was pleasantly surprised to also receive a free sausage. I left the restaurant with a big smile on my face. The food was decent, not the best I've had but definitely not the worst. I would give it a 7 out of 10, and would definitely return if I was in the area again."

The food from here is consistently good quality and always cooked fresh. The only downside is how long it takes so definitely recommend phoning your order through!

This isn't my nearest takeaway, I pass 6 or 7 others to get to this one but in my opinion (and my families too! it is by far the best in Wigan. It's consistently good food and the helpful, pleasant owners make this the best around.

I recently had some of the most delicious fish and chips at this restaurant. The curry sauce was also outstanding. The two women who served me were very friendly. I will definitely make this my go-to spot whenever I am back in town.

This is the best Chinese takeout in Wigan without a doubt. We ordered BBQ spare ribs and salt and pepper chicken for starters, followed by special curry and egg fried rice for the main course. Everything was cooked perfectly and there was more than enough food for two people.

Agree with everything said below, the best takeaway in Wigan. They don't promote or advertise anything, they let the food, prices and service do the talking. The food is amazing for very reasonable prices. That is why I look for to visiting at least once per month... Little extras they give you top it all off, please stay open forever

Visited here a couple of times in the last couple of months. We ordered vegetable curry, chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein all of which were really good, nice sauce and good quality chicken. The owners are very friendly and as it was near closing offered us free sausage and chips as well, that were also very good not greasy and better than usual chinese takeaway chips. We will visit again when we are staying close by at the town centre Premier Inn.

First time we have used this Chippy as were visiting friends in Wigan, I have to say it is the cleanest chippy I've been in for a long time! Impressed by the sparkling clean wall tiles and clean floor. Also there was hand sanitisor masks available for customers on the counter, The Covid screens are not the cleanest looking but thats because of the plastic material not because they are dirty. The staff are very friendly and the food was hot delicious. We will definately use this chippy again when in Wigan.

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
