If the kitchen closes at 2pm you should change the times and not write that it is open until 3pm, called at 1pm asking if there was room at 2.30pm, the answer; before 2pm there is no room and after 2.30pm it is late to have lunch.

How beautiful this place is, a tavern from times gone by that is modern at the same time. Informal but perfect service, efficient, quick and very kind. Simple but not at all banal dishes, freshly prepared, tasty and in a word good! We will definitely be back, it's nice to see passion and love in doing this job, a rare commodity in Milan. Well done! Historic restaurant in Milan, they have maintained an appreciable consistency with the Lombard tradition, both in the menu and in the dining room. Their main dish remains the CBT Galletto with mashed potatoes, which is always on the menu and is really worth tasting. The starters and desserts (strictly homemade) were also good. The Valpolicella they served us was also good. The final price was completely fair. This homey restaurant served one of the best dinner i ate throughout my trip in Milan. I didn't really do the ordering for the table since there were 9 of us, i just followed along with the group. HOWEVER, one item really left an impression: the beef tongue salad! We ordered a second round of that. I remember the chicken dish was also tasty. The service was great. I think they're not used to the sight of seeing 9 asian tourists visiting so they were a little taken aback, alas, they tried their best to communicate with us and made sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing place with great seasonable dishes that change each season. Traditional but with modern taste. Small portion so you can order many dishes. We had spicy cubed eggplant and caramelised onion with pear and gorgonzola on crostone bread as starter. Ravioli filled with walnut and gorgonzola with butter and honey, meat mascheroni as primo. Followed by tripa soup with fresh vegetables and beans (really amazing). Mascarpone served with rose and peperoncino sauce and fresh ricotta ice cream with fresh strawberry, whipped cream and meringue as deserts. Highly recommended. We arrived here straight from the airport, since we had a reservation and didn't want to be late. I like the fact that the door is full of awards and mentions, it's a nice touch, but it raises the expectations a lot. Restaurant is typical italian, cramped with old tables and loud atmosphere, but this is why you go to Italy. Table was still available and we were sat and promptly greeted by our server.
