"Se al cibo do 5 stelle purtroppo il servizio e l'ambiente fanno perdere delle stelle. La pasta fresca Don Vincenzo è davvero ottima, saporita e se ami il gusto del gamberone la devi provare. Il pesce è fresco. Il cameriere è stato cortese e sempre disponibile alle nostre richieste. Purtroppo il servizio è molto lento, solo uno a gestire i tavoli e a fare cassa. Il tavolo è stato preparato al momento sotto i balconi di un palazzo. Comunque ci ritornerei."

Ottima esperienza! Piatti abbondanti, davvero gustosi e materia prima ottima. Un pranzo a base di pesce che ci ha lasciato soddisfatti sia nel palato che nel portafoglio. Personale e padrona davvero gentili.

Al centro di Napoli! Il menù non offre un'ampia scelta, ma c'è sia terra che mare. Le porzioni non sono esagerate, i sapori sono genuini. Una buona trattoria per uno spuntino al volo. Consigliato. PS Personale disponibile e prezzi medio bassi

Was visiting the old Napoli district and used Google review to find a decent eating place nearby and decided upon this place. Order an octopus salad and was surprised that it was tender and not overcooked. The seafood pasta was also well seasoned.

Very authentic Italian food. Fresh ingredients and natural tastes. Service is swift and friendly. They play stylish music and the energy on the plaza is vibrant. A real taste of Neapolitan life! We ate here twice during our short stay, because we liked the food and atmosphere so much. Expect a queue if you arrive later than 20:00. Voir le carte

We ordered three dishes, pasta, risotto and fried seafood. After finished pasta and risotto we waited for another 30mins for the fired seafood, that was too long. And they didn’t put salt in the squid and octopus, dunno why And no services, only 2 waiters there and took out our porks when we finished the first 2 dishes. When the seafood came, we even have to ask again for the tableware, how ridiculous…

perfect restaurant! we starve and sought a place to eat and stumbled on this beautiful intimate restaurant. I have the short pasta with kartoffel and speck I highly recommend it (see in the additional picture). I also have the white wine that was perfect and cheap! the service was quick and beautiful, outside was waiter great and let us feel at home. the price-quality ratio is spectacular! eat them there definitiw when they are in napoli!

"Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
