"We had the Ligurian pancakes and lasagne for starters and rabbit with patate as second. The pancakes were tasty, but nothing special. Same goes for the lasagne which was even partly cold. The rabbit was good, but the patate were ordinary french fries and not roasted potatoes as I am used from other trattorias. All this plus a bottle of house wine set us back about 40€ which is way overpriced. The day before, in Florence, we had two dishes and desert each plus water and wine and paid less than this. Tasted better as well. Wouldn 't go there again."

I am sorry to be honest, it was the worst food I ever had in Italy. I had no idea that in Italy can be such thing as bad food. I paid 60euro for nothing.

cucina tipica casa spezia. polenta con ottima stochafisso, fritta secca e croccante. le acciughe aperte per prenotare e fritte erano davvero buone. spaghetti con muscoli buoni e ben curati. raccomandato

Il pollo alla ligure è semplicemente fantastico. Vi consiglio anche altri piatti come le acciughe fritte, i muscoli(per chi non lo sapesse sono le cozze) ed i ravioli. Location molto tranquilla e spaziosa, con tavoli all'interno e all'esterno. Seguimi per altre recensioni! Voir le carte

Just 5 minutes walk form our B&B this excellent restaurant was well worth a visit. They give you a menu but then tell you what you can have that day from it. We had three course each and each was very tasty if a little simple. We enjoyed it so much we took our daughter there the next night after she had flown out to join us.

Oggi siamo tornati a pranzare qui, sotto il gazebo, godendoci sia quella brezza che nei tavoli più in alto non manca mai, sia l'atmosfera assolutamente rilassata e familiare! Cucina ottima, qualsiasi cosa si decide di mangiare si ha la certezza che sarà buonissimo! Da provare i testaroli al pesto e il vitello tonnato! Oggi hanno fatto un coniglio alla ligure che, a detta di chi l'ha mangiato, era da e lode. Prezzo non esagerato se si valuta la qualità dei cibi proposti!

"My husband and I took the train from Rapallo to La Spezia because we had read about andree. We are so glad that we did. We chose the three course lunch and liked that there were so many options for each course. Once we experienced the food and the perfect wine pairings, we can say that the quality/price ratio was outstanding. My husband saw beef and oysters on the menu, but since we don’t eat meat, Chef Andrea kindly prepared an extra off menu appetizer for him of three raw oysters. Our ordered appetizers were sweet succulent mussels in a velvety cauliflower cream sauce and a delicious artichoke heart with almonds and Castelmagno cheese. For our pasta course we chose the calamarta pasta with black eyed peas and rosemary and the tagliolini with clams both were delicious. For our secondi piatti my husband ordered the red mullet with broccoli, anchovies, pistachios, and a light orange sauce, while I chose today’s catch, which was amberjack wrapped in chard. We switched plates midway, and we were hard pressed to say which was better, because both were fantastic. Each of the courses was paired beautifully with lovely wines from small production vineyards. Unfortunately, we lingered too long over each course and realized after we had ordered dessert that we only had 30 minutes to catch our train back to Rapallo. They insisted that we eat dessert while they called us a cab, and while we wolfed it down (instead of savoring it the way we would have liked to), we only saw after we got back that they never charged us for dessert. Chef Andrea is an extremely talented chef and a warm and generous man who genuinely wants his diners to enjoy his food. What a pleasure it was to briefly make his acquaintance and to have the opportunity to experience this exquisite lunch."
