"We were so very happy to dine at Tramaligno on 24 October, 2023. We last were here in 2015– Otto ani fa. The restaurant is so nicely decorated, and the food is outstanding. Even better than what we had the last time we were in Italy, We tried the polenta frita con fegatini, polenta frita con porcini— both were so tasty, crisp, well presented. Also tried lamprodotto; one with tomato based sauce, ant the other incorporated fresh cabbage which is in season. I preferred the one with cabbage, in fact I would return there just for that dish, it is so delicious. We also enjoyed a typical tomato and bread soup which was most enjoyable.Also we had a ravioli with truffle sauce, pici alla nana (duck), and pasta with a chianina ragu. We ate everything and enjoyed every bite. Pastas were cooked perfectly al dente, sauces were absolutely delicious. We had 2 house wines; one a Syrah, the other a Chianti. Both were excellent choices, and they have a very nice list of wine offerings in addition. The Tramaligno has a focus on local producers, special producers, and seasonal produce. We have eaten at many places in the area from Regello to San Gimignano, to Volterra, to Arezzo, to Loro Ciuffena, etc., inToscana. This is by far the top of our list. Better than all the other places in Val d’Arno. We wish we could live closer so we could dine there more often. It will always be a special place in our memories. In the photo below, I apologize that I only remembered to take a photo after we had begun eating. We were so focused on the food and flavors, photos were an after-thought."

Amazing food! I had raviolis that where the best I have ever had! In addion we tried the Chianti stake that I higly reccomend, again superb!

Ci siamo fermati a pranzo un lunedì, il locale era tranquillo, giusto qualche operaio. Vino sfuso della casa, brunello, ottimo. Tagliatelle e pici di primo, grigliata di cinta e lombata di vitello di secondo, patate e carciofi fritti di contorno. Tutto buono. Cameriere gentile. Da ripassare per la fiorentina. Spesi 45€ a testa.

Non mi ero mai fermato. Proprietario affabile e molto attento. Mangiato un primo di ravioli ripieno burrata con sugo di pomodoro: appetitosissimo. E un insalatina di contorno. Un caffè e acqua. Ho chiesto anche di rimanere un'oretta al Tavolo per lavorare un po' col pc portatile e mi ha dato disponibilità volentieri. Speso 18 euro con fattura. Considerando il valore del ristorante e di ciò che ho mangiato direi prezzo giusto.

This is not a fancy place and the menus are only In Italian but fortunately we can read Italian. If you like steak this is the place. They bring out the steak to show yiu before they cook it. They are huge and well worth the money. I had the veal chop which was the best veal chop I ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pastas are homemade and excellent. The house wine was great. Try the fried artichokes. Would absolutely go again

Cinque stelle perché non posso darne sei, soltanto per il servizio le meriterebbero! Gentili ma in modo naturale, direi più che altro affettuosi, ma senza essere invadenti. La sensazione avuta era quella di essere a pranzo da amici. Già solo questo, merita un voto molto alto. Ma se aggiungiamo a questo delle pappardelle con un ragù di cinghiale davvero MOLTO buono, dei porcini freschi fritti ECCELLENTI, un’ottima lombata e sua maestà la chianina (cotta davvero in modo ineccepibile Buono (più di quanto mi attendessi) il Montalcino della casa. Dolci nella norma, anche se per la prima volta ho mangiato con vero piacere i cantucci con il vino. Piacevolissima esperienza, da riprovare altre volta...
