"after a day spent walking up and down the Tuscan hills looking for a small restaurant where to eat good food at low price. we found on the fork this trattoria that with its menu convinced us, so we booked! we were pleasantly surprised by the result, we opted for two swallow menus (which include appetizer, first, second, contour, sweet and covered) plus one first and one second more being in four at the table. all the dishes have been widely appreciated, especially the cut to the Tuscan lard that dissolved in the mouth! then the girl serving at the tables (bionda curcciola) was really beautiful and beautiful, so also the service was totally approved. in total we paid 86 euros that for everything we took and for the friendliness of the girl, they were more than justified!"

"We were so very happy to dine at Tramaligno on 24 October, 2023. We last were here in 2015– Otto ani fa. The restaurant is so nicely decorated, and the food is outstanding. Even better than what we had the last time we were in Italy, We tried the polenta frita con fegatini, polenta frita con porcini— both were so tasty, crisp, well presented. Also tried lamprodotto; one with tomato based sauce, ant the other incorporated fresh cabbage which is in season. I preferred the one with cabbage, in fact I would return there just for that dish, it is so delicious. We also enjoyed a typical tomato and bread soup which was most enjoyable.Also we had a ravioli with truffle sauce, pici alla nana (duck), and pasta with a chianina ragu. We ate everything and enjoyed every bite. Pastas were cooked perfectly al dente, sauces were absolutely delicious. We had 2 house wines; one a Syrah, the other a Chianti. Both were excellent choices, and they have a very nice list of wine offerings in addition. The Tramaligno has a focus on local producers, special producers, and seasonal produce. We have eaten at many places in the area from Regello to San Gimignano, to Volterra, to Arezzo, to Loro Ciuffena, etc., inToscana. This is by far the top of our list. Better than all the other places in Val d’Arno. We wish we could live closer so we could dine there more often. It will always be a special place in our memories. In the photo below, I apologize that I only remembered to take a photo after we had begun eating. We were so focused on the food and flavors, photos were an after-thought."

"What a nice surprise. This is a small combination of a restaurant, bar, and small shop. It is a local place with lots of movement and very unpretentious. The restaurant serves tuscan cuisine. It does not look like much from outside and you may not even notice it passing by in car. I brought my two children here for a quick lunch. We ordered the tagliere misto (salami, prosciutto, cheese, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and more) as an antipasto, and then two different pasta dishes. The tagliere was abundant and of excellent quality products. We were truly surprised. The pasta dishes on the menu of the day were recipes a little different from the norm, which was nice, and were of perfect quality and delicious. The crowd in the small restaurant is a very eclectic one with a mix of ages from babies to senior citizens, from locals having a quick work lunch to out of town visitors. A really nice, inviting and warm environment. Prices are extremely reasonable to the point we were surprised. Service was spot on and extremely kind. All in all, I have to say that for such a small place that I did not even know really existed, we had an excellent meal and experience. A perfect place for lunch. I don't think I would go there for dinner necessarily, however."

"abbiamo cenato in taverna dopo una lunga giornata a piedi per il firenze. il posto è facilmente situato, accanto a ci sono anche confortevoli posti auto. il personale è molto gentile, disponibile a consigliarvi meglio e molto bello. La cena è stata davvero grande, un antipasto fatto ad hoc per ingannare l'attesa della cottura della bistecca al fiorentino, che tra l'altro prima della cottura ci hanno portato in visione e dopo ci hanno tagliato davanti agli occhi suggerendo di aggiungere un delizioso olio locale e un sale specifico che ha esaltato il goto della carne, un contorno, due bicchieri di vino rosso, acqua, dolce spettacolo e la nostra giornata si è conclusa in un modo. Grazie!"
