"We actually visited the Toucan twice, once for breakfast and a second time for cream tea. It was great both times. The tables are a bit close and I noticed I wasn't the only one moving the oversized pillows (didn't leave enough room to sit on the chair) but once we were settled both the food and service were good. I really appreciated the vegetarian option for breakfast and the conversation with the owner when we returned for cream tea a few days later. We were visitors to the area and the Toucan was recommended by our hosts who are locals, We will look forward to eating at the Toucan on a future visit."

Excellent breakfast, good sized portion of poached eggs and smoked salmon. Absolutely lovely Mocha! My partner had the veggie breakfast and was also really impressed. Lovely staff too. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you.

A super place. Recommended by a friend and wow what a find. Stopped for breakfast, which was just perfect and great value, whilst on a trip around Exmoor. The staff were superb and very friendly. Service was efficient and the meal of good quality.

Wonderful, friendly service. Popped in for coffee and decided to have cake too! Normally this would just be a slice on a plate….. not here. Beautifully presented and tasted great too. Looking around at some of the other tables showed us that this is definitely a place to visit again! Voir le carte

At last we've managed to follow friends' advice to sample Jonny and Steph's cuisine ... and what good advice it was! Superb excellently prepared menu, a very warm welcome and exceptional value. Who needs to travel to a Michelin star restaurant when there is such quality available locally?

Invited by friends for a dinner and entertainment evening on a coronation theme. 2 choices of main and dessert £30 with a local singing duo who played a mix of popular songs. Food excellent and cooked to order. Good drinks menu with reasonable pricing. Wasn't sure what to expect as we live an hour from bampton but would make the journey again. Highly recommended and good to see such a small business so well supported in the town.
