Torcello is a great Italian in Hamburg! The service is super good, the place is charming and small and the food delicious! Recommend it!

Beautiful setting, and the BEST ravioli I've ever eaten. Actually damn it , not just the best ravioli the best pasta full stop. Can't recommend it enough . Very accommodating friendly staff . Well worth a visit!!!!

Excellent Italian restaurant, that has everything you hope for at your little Italian at the corner... Who knew what was waiting behind the door of what seemed simply a neighborhood Italian Restaurant. But no! This is a delightful suprise. The food and wine are outstanding, with a really creative menu and a wonderful freshness to all the dishes. The service is flawless, friendly and helpful.

My wife and I ate our last two dinners in Hamburg at Torcello. We found it rather by accident the first night, but before the first meal was done, we knew that we had to come back again.The atmosphere was welcoming, the food delicious.I can't wait to come back whenever our travels bring us back to Hamburg.

We had a business meal here for 5 colleagues during the SMM conference in Hamburg. It was recommended by the Hotel Grand Elysee. Its only ten minutes walk and easy to find. We had a chef's selection of starters followed by mains along with a lot of great wine. The service was superb and there was quite of mix of clientèle in the restaurant enjoying their evening. This small and cozy restaurant has a very intimate, familial atmosphere. Large selection of wine, fresh daily specials according to season, very personable service. There was just nothing to fault here at all. It is slightly hidden in the lower floor of the residential building, yet easy to find walking along the street. We had no reservation and were accommodated, place however almost booked out on a weeknight. Food was superbly delicious, with great presentation. If you are in the area this is definitely worth a trip. Open for lunch and dinner Mon-Fri, dinner only on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.

Went with colleagues for a work lunch. Service was very friendly. We sat in the back and occupied the entire table. Right next to us is a small blackboard where they wrote down the lunch menu with chalk sticks. I had chicken breast with mashed potatoes, and an espresso afterwards. Both were very well executed. The chicken breast was well seasoned and moist. The vegetables were tasty and soft. The sauce was particularly good. My colleagues had some kind of fish which they said was also quite good. Besides the food, the place is very cozy and quite. Very close to the Alster lake, as well as to the Uni Hamburg. For lunch, price range is between 10 to 15 euro (with coffee).

Amazing small Italian place in the city. It's hard to find a parking place and you probably need to reserve a table, since it's a small place. The service was efficient and competent, average friendly, but that's normal in Hamburg. The restaurant was small, cozy, and nicely decorated. To the food, I had some Parmigiano aubergines as entree, they were small but amazing. I had as a main course, I had Tafelspitz (tri-tip, a cut of beef), it was perfectly cooked with a delicious mushroom sauce. As a side dish, there were veggies and boiled potatoes.
