Toby Carvery Loughborough

We had to remind the server about our starter, but overall we were pleased with everything else. The staff was polite, friendly, and eager to assist us as much as they could.

We are a group of varying sizes, usually ranging from 10 to 24 people, and our group always loves dining at Toby's. We make it a point to visit the restaurant once a month now.

Even though I made a mistake with the booking, the restaurant quickly accommodated us and we, along with our grandchildren, enjoyed a delicious carvery meal. Thank you for the excellent food and service. Voir le carte

I was a weekly customer for six years, but stopped coming because the place was run down and the food and staff were inconsistent. I am happy to report that the upgrades and improved quality of food have impressed me, and I will definitely be returning.

Each time we go to Toby Loughborough we receive a warm welcome form all the front of house staff also from the person on the carvery duty. Toby visits are a treat too our selves a beautiful hot meal no cooking or washing up and a friendly attmosphere a real treat.

I am afraid the plates where Cold which in turn made the Food on my plate cold, The Gammon was beautiful and the assortment of Veg I did not have a Yorkshire Pudding as they are so tough to cut up. Waiting Staff and front of house all very plesant and helpful people, we were early but seated straight away. We will return as it's our treat to ourselves and having meal and no washing up is great. Toby Loughborough, we where made very welcome and escourted too our table and given time to settle, we ordered a Drink and then invited to the Carvery I had Roast Gammon which was moist and a beautiful flavour, my wife is Vegetarian and had no meat Carvery an excelent choice Vegetables. We had a Sweet which rounded off an excellent meal ! We made a Booking for 18 people in November for our Club Members.

After waiting a considerable amount of time for our food to be brought to the carvery service area, we expected it to remain hot until we sat down to eat. Unfortunately, some items were not as hot as we had hoped, with the roast potatoes even being cold inside. Our complaint to the waiter did result in a price reduction, but we hope that constructive criticism will be taken to improve the service at this convenient venue. Despite this experience, we have generally been satisfied with this restaurant in the past and would like to continue dining here.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a notice stating that due to delivery issues, mashed potatoes were unavailable. Despite the lack of customers, the staff appeared overwhelmed. We were seated at a table that had not been set and had to ask for utensils. Our reservation was for 8:00pm, but when the chef arrived to carve, there was only a small piece of beef left and not enough turkey for me. The pork was tasty, but the cauliflower was both hard and watery, and the beans were lukewarm. When it came time to pay, the Toby app was not working, so we could not receive our 40% discount.
