Visited for a drink and food while stopping at nearby travelodge. (don’t stop there) Lovely atmosphere when we arrived, cosy seating. Pizza was good, staff friendly.

The restaurant offers excellent food, a charming atmosphere, and a team of welcoming staff members. Simon, in particular, stands out for his attentive and genuinely friendly service. A big thank you to Simon!

We had a wonderful dinner on a Sunday night, with all the meats still available, which was a pleasant surprise. Our server Georgia was excellent, especially with our two dogs, being very welcoming and efficient. We will definitely be returning.

Went for a roast beef and a trio roast which arrived less than 3 minutes after ordering and unfortunately mine was cold so had to be sent back to be warmed up in the microwave. The food was ok but definitely not worth the price in our opinion. Couldn’t fault the waiter he was lovely and very apologetic. Wouldn’t return for Sunday lunch here.

I went to this restaurant for dinner with two friends. We were seated promptly and ordered our starters. Two of us ordered the baked mushrooms, which consisted of mushrooms in a watery cheese sauce served with cheese on bread and very hard toast. The main courses were disappointing, as the breaded hunter's chicken was dry and overcooked. It didn't come with the BBQ sauce listed on the menu, which we had to ask for. The dish was supposed to have bacon and be smothered with cheese, but there was only one strip of overcooked bacon and some dried up cheese on top. First of all, there was only one poor girl front of house, Lianne, serving drinks, making coffee, taking food orders and serving table, and she did it brilliantly. We had booked a table, and ordered drinks, but still had a fair wait for food. I ordered the gammon and eggs, and a mountain of peas, and apart from a small ramekin of chips it was good. My wife ordered the Chicken Penang curry, which consisted of five strips of chicken, a solid fusion of rice, and lots of beans. As a side she ordered a ramekin of chips at £2.95. What a rip off!!!
