The food here is truly exceptional, and the staff and the vibe of the place are equally fantastic—definitely a 10/10 experience! According to legend, in the early 19th century, this place was merely a house where a widow awaited her son, who was serving in the navy. He was supposed to return home on Good Friday and had asked his mother to bake some hot cross buns for him. She happily obliged, but he never returned. Still, every year, she prepared a bun in his memory. Upon her passing, all the buns were discovered hanging from the ceiling.
