"On arrival it soon became apparent that the owner was not happy to welcome you, after ordering drinks and being told that this is a country pub so some beers would not be available? We looked through the menu, which in my view was very poor and expensive) my wife had the garlic mushrooms, I had the beef burger we both had a sweet, on the way home my wife was not feeling well and when we arrived home she was sick and on and off the toilet, it wasn't long after that I also was having to use the toilet, so after this experience I wouldn't recommend this pub/restaurant"

The burger was absolutely delicious and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The average price per person is between £20-30, and I highly recommend trying the Beef Burger.

the new huntingdon bypass can make it a bit more difficult to get from, but this place is absolutely worth it. beautiful home cooked food in a traditional, inviting environment, and even the child portions are amazing with possibly best chips of all time.

Disappointing after some really good previous experiences including dinner without booking soon after the pub re opened which encouraged further visits for Summer patio lunches but then had a lacklustre dinner with family in July. Lunch today was disappointing wet fish with tasteless peas and tartare sauce. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

amazingly accommodating. eating was simple, but very well done and the price was not bad either. I was not too sure first because the menu looked quite limited, but definitiw did not underestimate. they saw that my little one got restless and his. food first broke out and he loved it. it is a minute drive for us, but it is worth it! cannot wait to return in summer!
