Su and the team were very friendly. Good tasting pub food. We returned for a second meal. Children and dog friendly. Thank you very much.

Good friendly local pub. Fitted us in twice at short notice and apologised for any wait. Nice local pub atmosphere. Reassuringly limited menu and good home cooked food, catered for all tastes. Went three times, always good.

A stones throw from our campsite and luckily we booked a table as the pub was full and no wonder why. The service is warm and friendly and the food is delicious. We both had the steak pie which I can highly recommend. We will go again next time in the area. Superb Voir le carte

A lovely friendly and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a drink after a long walk. Our dog loved it and he was given lots of fuss and treats! We went for dinner in there on two evenings. Both meals were fantastic. Home cooked food and generous portions. A proper village pub.

Good honest pub grub. Good size portions and an a good choice of main courses. Homemade jalfrezi was really tasty and came with rice/chips, mango chutney and choice of poppadom or naan. Pub has a nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. Would recommend for food and drinks if in the Talybont area.

Great food; good and quick service; friendly, helpful and courteous staff the 3 young ladies, Billy and his mate, and the wonderful lady who gave me change for £20 AND the phone number for a local garage who Billy phoned. Geraint opened his garage for us to give us engine oil when AA just kept deferring their arrival time. Voir le carte

We have visited twice this week whilst in the area prebooked sunday lunch perfect good portions friendly service despite being busy friday evening although not prebooked , seated and served with a great meal service was excellent and the “is everything ok with your meal” a real welcome these days . Well done to all the staff great service and superb food.

What an amazing welcome we had at The White Heart! Even though we were late for our booking, the service we received was outstanding and the owner and staff couldn't do enough to help. We had three dogs in tow and they were treated to 5 star service too and loved their treats! We had steak and ale pie and chips which was absolutely delicious. Honestly, we were blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. Thank you so much! We will definitely be returning.

My wife and I dropped in at lunch on the off chance. I was initially concerned as they had a sign saying no service outside due to staff shortages but we decided to sit inside and give it a go. The barman was helpful and served a really good pint! I ordered a rump steak and my wife ordered a veggie lasagne. My steak was perfectly cooked, extremely tender and full of flavour. The chips were crispy outside, fluffy inside and not a trace of grease. The lasagne was nice and cheesy and moist, not a dried up offering you often get. Well done the White Hart despite the staffing challenges. We won’t hesitate in returning when next in the area. Voir le carte
