"The people was extremely friendly and inviting. Had such a laugh with them all. Was a really good night. Played lots of pool and they have darts. My partner was so excited over the urinals came out with a picture on his phone lovely pub. If you have a bad date there's plenty to read and lots of pictures to look at. Looks like a tiny pub from the outside but it's quite big, love the beer garden too. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for making us feel welcome. It was in the evening when we went so we didn't have the food. My god it smelt lovely when someone did order food. Can't wait to visit again and try the food out."

I brought my brother in law to the pub when he traveled from the US. He said, when I imagined a pub in England, this is exactly what I imagined. Super friendly staff/owners and Patrons. Great drinks, reasonable prices, and quintessential pub environment.

Wow! We celebrated my 60th birthday here with a family lunch and Chris (landlord) could not have been more friendly and helpful, especially with the little people. Chocolate ice cream with sprinkles? No problem! The food was wonderful just couldn't eat all the fish, even though it was delicious and the deserts didn't disappoint either! If we lived locally we would be here on a regular basis, but will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Brilliant place, great staff. This isn’t a knock but they don’t do food any longer as their kitchen is closed. (Which is why I’ve put comments as below). This doesn’t stop it from being a great pub to go to. Great selection of all beverages. Fantasticly stocked“themed” events i.e. cider fest, ginboree, beer fest etc. The karaoke nights are brilliant along with the selections of music they have booked every month. Definitely the place to go.

This pub is the empitome of british Free house pub. Incredible variety of spirits and drinks on tap, charismatic and banterous staff and a strong atmosphere any evening! On top of this, an incredible variety of monthly events from Karaoke, singers, bands and more. Recently, they reopened their kitchen and their food is top notch. Classics with twists, and a few eccentric and unique options that would never be found at a bog standard Green King. I can't recommend this place enough. If you are nearby, or even a little bit of a drive away, it's definitely worth a trip over!

"My wife and I stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We chose Titchwell Manor due to its location on the A149. From here we can catch the Coasthopper up or down the coast. The bus stops are 100 metres outside the hotel. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our room behind the hotel. We had Basil number 21. It is a large comfortable room, with walk in shower and the fluffiest towels we have ever had. The room was very well heated and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was served from a civilised 8am. The plate of fresh fruit was really good. If you choose to have you eggs poached they will be the most perfect you will ever have with their lovely orange yokes. The rest of the components were equally good and served with leaf tea or great coffee. The bars each had a lovely roaring log fire, where we enjoyed a drink before our meal. The menu choices we made were ham hock, brioche piccalilli and burnt apple purée followed by venison, Jerusalem artichoke and rainbow kale. The other choice was marinated beetroot, basil pesto and goats cheese cream followed by salt baked celeriac, sage and onion with crispy kale. Both meals were outstanding. The venison was very tender and the celeriac was outstanding. On the basis of this dish, a very under stated vegetable. Service was very good and served at a speed we dictated without the continual pestering we have experienced elsewhere. We will definitely come back here as the whole stay was a great experience."
