We had a Sunday roast here today it was amazing ,such lovely food and a good amount to, service was great ,lovely people. We would strongly recommend you try it

Great friendly pub with a good choice of food all cooked to perfection. Just taken mum for 90th Birthday treat. We stay on the attached caravan club CL when we travel to France great place to stop over on the way to the Eurotunnel.

Booked a table for a family dinner and it was the best meal out we've had in a very long time! Lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere and the food was fresh and succulent. Will be recommending to all and sundry. Thank you Wagon and Horses. Voir le carte

Fans of Dr Who will love this place....so much more on the inside than appears from the outside. Exceptionally large drinks and dining areas comfortably presented and decorated. Friendly staff and regular customers make this place all the more inviting. Recommended.

This restaurant was a great spot to enjoy a meal with the family, and the added bonus of being able to bring along our dog really made the experience special. The only drawback was that there weren't many options for vegetarians. I ended up ordering a burger, which was a bit too spicy for my liking, but it was either that or a ploughman's platter. The chocolate cake for dessert was delicious.

We had my Dads 96th birthday here on the 11/2/2023. We had 26 people to which was a lot to cater for We had a really lovely meal starters and desserts. They were very helpful all the dinners were lovely Staff great as well. Could not fault anything all the meals came out together and children were catered for also. Everytime we've come here (4 in total received good welcome good food and great value for money! Just recently we held my father's birthday lunch (96 had around 26 people Everything went smoothly staff excellent thank you so much for making the day special nobody had any complaints (my husband reckons best pie he's ever had! So well done to Roy and all the staff we would highly recommend wagon and horse's to everyone we know

After a day at Reculver beach, my son and I were hungry and spotted this pub with a spacious car park. Overall, it was a decent pub with excellent service and a friendly and competent barmaid serving fresh and tasty seafood. However, the £13 burger was disappointing and reminded me of a Wetherspoons burger. It was advertised as having cheddar cheese, but instead had a square of processed cheese. On the bright side, the two pints of Harvey's Bitter were superb and they had a good selection of ales. I would definitely return with my family, but I hope they work on improving their burger quality. I would be willing to pay more for a better burger experience. Keep up the good work!

Today we went for lunch with our friends Lin and Mike, who live nearby. We are also named Lin and Mike and we live near Dartford. The restaurant is a charming country pub with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly. We were glad we made a reservation as the place was quickly filling up with hungry customers. The ladies ordered pie, Mike had fish and chips, and I indulged in the Big Boys Pudding! Despite the large portion, I managed to finish it and the attentive staff checked on us throughout our meal. All of our dishes were delicious and very filling, but we couldn't resist getting four desserts to share. It was a lovely lunchtime spent with our friends and we will definitely be returning as...
