"Fantastic fish n chips, so fresh and tasty. Staff uniforms with aprons and flat caps very smart and cool looking, a bit cheeky blinders. No viking statue outsude when we went last week assuming he's shielding lol (covid pandemic joke) also good hygiene measures, queue order one of two at a time inside, given ticket number and wait outside, suitably socially distanced until order ready then they shout your number, sorted!"

We order the fish and chips from here almost every time we visit Largs. The portions are generous and the food is consistently delicious.

I recently had the fish and chips and the steak and peas. The fish had a beautifully crispy batter, and the steak and peas were delicious. Definitely worth a visit! Voir le carte

I went for a pub lunch and found it to be quite nice inside with good food. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20. Here’s my breakdown: Food: 3/5, Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 3/5. I would recommend the Steak Pie, Sausage and Chips, and Macaroni Cheese.

Been coming to the Viking takeaway fish and chips for years. The best ever! Unfortunately last night the 26th of July was disappointing chips fabulous felt the fish have been kept warm in the oven a little too long. Still I’ll be back! I will hath to put the fish in when I arrive so it’s fresher. Voir le carte

We visited this restaurant a week ago in the evening to enjoy some fish and sit by the beach. The fish was incredibly fresh, and even though we had to wait about five minutes, it was definitely worth it. The chips were also delicious. The place is clean and tidy, and the staff is friendly. The food is fantastic! It was well worth the trip for us, and I highly recommend it.

If you're searching for a lunch spot in Largs, this is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend the Baked Potato with Cheese and Red Onion. They definitely offer vegetarian options, and there's a dedicated Kids Meals section on the menu, making it a family-friendly place. As for pricing, you can expect to spend around £10–20 per person. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.

"Popped in for a coffee this afternoon, kind of wish I hadn 't. I asked for a Flat White, my freind had a Delux Cappuccino . We also asked about cakes. Both of us opted for the Apple Pie with Ice Cream. To say I was disappointed is a bit of an understatement. The pie was flat and soggy and to be honest wasn 't the best tasting apple pie. The ice cream was a single scoop of cheap Raspberry Ripple, the kind of cheap, nasty stuff I would have gotten as part of a primary school dinner some point in the late 1980 's. The pie arrived 1st then the coffee 's a minute or so later. We didn 't get any cutlery with the pie but assumed some would be brought over with the coffees... No. All we had was the teaspoon that came with the coffee, no decent sized spoon of fork and no napkin either (other tables had cutlery and napkins). My Flat White wasn 't really all that good, it was essentialy just a Latte and even then, the coffee wasn 't that decent. My freinds delux cappuccino was supposed to come with cream, marshmallows and a flake, I saw no evidence of the flake (unless it had sunk and dissolved), just extra dusted chocolate, a tiny bit of squirty cream and some very small marshmallows I wouldn 't say it looked delux Final point of annoyance was the price. £11.50 for 2 mediocre coffees and 2 worse than mediocre Apple Pies. Also they only take Cash! Not great in a post covid environment where every other business under the sun is trying to use contactless payments to reduce the chances of infection. Given the location and the competition, I would expect this place to be better. I was there a number of years ago and got decent coffee and a really nice slice of cake. Since then it has been remodelled and I believe changed owners. Even still, with a Costa next door, a restaurant/pub behind them, another coffee shop accross the street and several kiosk icecream/coffee/doughnut or chip shops all within 50yrds they really need to pick up their game. Prime position right on the prominade of a busy sea side town. I suppose they may be trying to get quantity over quality...? The only posative I can find is that the 2 x young women who were serving seemed pleasant and freindly, but that can 't make up for the poor quality products that were not worth the money being charged. I went there today largely because I enjoyed what I had the last time and would rather give my money to a local business rather than massive corporation like Costa but to be honest, I don 't think I will be back there any time soon."
