We had a lovely lunch on Friday with a glass of wine each. Comfortable seating area. Friendly service. bought a bottle of wine on leaving. Great little place for a lunch in Large.

We enjoyed lunch at Il Cardo on Wednesday. Delightful service and scrumptious food. Meatballs for him and arrancini for me. Delicious bread. And deli to marvel at. If only we'd had room for dessert or cannoli orcake!

The houme make lasagna was nothinking like houme make Italian lasagna.... full of dolimo souce.. Italian people use proper passata and they putting good quality of mozzarella and not dolimo souce... if was houme make why it's all E numbers? Voir le carte

Best Italian food in Largs by far and fantastic value for money. Nice ambience with lovely lighting and Italian music. Staff were all excellent, can’t wait for the next Friday evening anti pasti night. Thanks to all the staff and of course the Chef

The best place in Largs for coffee and food. We never go anywhere else! Staff are lovely, friendly and chatty. If we have ever needed help with any info on menu or products, we have always been pleased with response. Toasties, soups, cakes or coffee and lovely italian options. Gluten free is catered for and the bread is much better than any other dining out GF run of the mill options Ive ever had!

We have recently had lunch at the Deli Il Cardo. Love the interior there, always interesting to browse the Italian and other products they have not something you would normally find in a supermarket. Bought a jar of a pear jam there this time. The food was good. My husband had vegetable soup with half a sandwich and I had smoked black ham, avocado and sundried tomato panini. Couldn't resist to get little desserts as well with our coffees which were tasty. The staff were friendly. On the downside, a bit slow service, although the cafe was also empty. Voir le carte

As soon as you enter this deli you feel a warm inviting sense, the music, the lay out of the deli shop and the aroma of delicious fresh ingredients. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I bought several items from the deli pesto, balsamic reduction and pasta. All are exceptional quality. I bought avocado couscous and toffee tiffin for dessert, both were freshly made and super tasty. This is a proper deli with fantastic ingredients, meats and cheeses, breads and cakes. I can’t wait to go back for more ingredients and a sit down meal. If anyone writes a bad review about this place I serious doubt they have even been inside it. It is an absolute gem

Popped in for lunch on a Monday. This used to be Tradewinds coffee shop and the transformation is remarkable. Very well done and reminiscent of Valvona Crolla etc. Lots of choice and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. We both had the cream of courgette soup and toastie. Mine was the brie, chicken and cranberry. My wife had parma ham with tomato and rocket. You get soup and toastie/baguette/sandwich for around £9 which is a good deal, although the sandwich is quite small. Came with a small dressed salad and excellent coleslaw. We love this place. We think it serves the best coffee in Largs. When we discovered that they were branching out at doing evening meals, we had no hesitation in booking a slot. Only Fridays at the moment. We were not disappointed. We had the shared platter of cheese and meat £13 per person . Goodness, what a feast! The platter was overflowing. We ate far too much well, we 'd paid for it! and asked for a doggy bag to take the rest home. Well worth the money. I had a glass of red wine to accompany the feast, my husband has the rose, Both were excellent choices. Italian music playing softly in the background, candles, superb food.
