"My sister (45) and I (44) visited a restaurant today to celebrate the birthdays of my mum (72) and my godmother (71) after hearing good things about their afternoon tea. I have to say, we were not disappointed. The whole experience was delightful. We were warmly greeted by Linda and shown to our table. They offered a great selection of teas and the food was absolutely delicious. We appreciated the simplicity of the sandwiches and pastries, which were tasty and familiar. The sandwiches included cream cheese and cucumber, ham with Dijon mustard, and egg mayo. The scones were light and fluffy, while the cakes, including Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, chocolate brownie, and red velvet, were all delicious. The waitstaff, including Lily, Harry, and Linda, were attentive and accommodating. As a special surprise, they brought out individual cupcakes with candles and sang happy birthday to the ladies, which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend having afternoon tea at this restaurant. It is well worth the money and provides a great experience."

"This is a lovely neighbourhood Italian restaurant. It offers a good selection of pasta and meat and fish dishes all freshly prepared. On the night I was here there were a mixture of families, couples and friends eating. It's not the largest restaurant so it has a good buzz. "The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely. Ewa was our server and she was great. The food was nice, just a bit salty for me. Great nachos starter. "My family and I celebrated my mother's 81st birthday with lunch at this restaurant. The starters were delightful and most of the main courses were tasty, although the beef was a bit tough for the older members of our group. The staff kindly offered free coffees to those who ordered the beef as compensation. It was a busy atmosphere when we visited in the afternoon, so it's possible the beef had been sitting out for a while. Despite this, we had an enjoyable experience overall."

"We visited on the Monday after the King’s coronation. Despite the certain busy days that must have preceded, we received incredible service and the food was great. Our visit was made so good all thanks to one person: Jan. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for a decade, and it’s safe to say that he is one of the most professional and proficient front of house member I’ve met in a long time. He had the perfect balance of upselling and keeping us happy: any changes we wanted to make to a dish? He would agree AND recommend a twist. If we said we were full between courses? He would offer a 5 minute break! Not hungry for dessert? He would recommend something delicious that didn’t feel too heavy. Jan is an absolute asset to the team and the company; I only hope that when I go back next he will still be there because he has a bright future ahead, either running his own restaurant or as a consultant working elsewhere in the hospitality industry."
