Booked a table for 27 persons on a pre ordered menu. Excellent service and all meals arrived together and the quality was very good. Well done to Andy and team. Good feedback from our staff

Stoped at reversal camp site over new year. Visited here for lunch Saturday and New Year’s Eve. Staff very friendly and food is excellent. The pub is nicely decorated and much better than the outside looks.

arrived and it was a bit chaotic as there was a party night going on as well but once we all got a drink and sat it got quite organised. the service was good we had a funny waitress who kept coming to see if we were ok. food was good served quite quick and was hot all in all a good night

We went went here for our Christmas meal and it was amazing the starter was so nice really tasty. The main was amazing the pigs in blanket was to die for so big just like the Yorkshire puddings. And the desserts was amazing. We will be returning thanks for a great christmas. Our whole family loved it.

Having frequented several drinking joints on my time on this earth I have never witnessed the shear pleasure of Katie the barmaid. Her knowedge of drinks, and pleasant conversation was refreshingly pleasurably. I will certainly be back soon to see her lovely smile! Keep up the good work! A credit to the establishment

My friends and I decided to stop in for some tea and we were pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. I ordered an American burger and it was absolutely delicious - the presentation was great and the portion size was perfect. We even had room for dessert, so we tried the brownie and it was also amazing. We definitely plan on visiting again, and thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had a wonderful experience at this pub with our family and friends. The staff and manager were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to use the conservatory for our reception and decorate it for our wedding blessing. The carvery we had was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised when the staff gave us two free bottles of wine. As we were finishing our meal, they congratulated us again and gifted us another bottle of wine. We were truly touched by their kindness and generosity. Our family and friends were also impressed by the food and service. We will definitely return the next time we are in England and highly recommend this pub for parties, weddings, and gatherings with loved ones...

Took family for Christmas dinner and it was amazing! The goats cheese starter was to die for, and the prawn cocktails my dad and Gran had went down very well. Dad and I had beef Wellington and Gran had the turkey dinner, the Wellington was astounding, all handmade with a delicious pate between the pastry and the melt in the mouth beef, and gran was enamored with the turkey and the fact it was moist and so tasty as a lot of places it can be dry. All the veg was succulent and al dente, cooked to perfection! We were all podged by dessert but the cheese board and creme brulees couldn't be missed. My friends and I visited the restaurant on Friday, August 31st and were surprised to find that we were the only customers in the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and attentive, but we felt rushed throughout the meal. We were served three courses in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The starters, chicken strips, and pâté were delicious. However, my main course, the gammon, was thick and had eggshell in it. The presentation of the main meals, including the pie and burger, was excellent. Unfortunately, the cheesecake was not available for dessert, so we opted for the triple chocolate brownie.
