A refill of our jug of water didn’t come at all. It was, however, a busy Saturday night, the staff were friendly and pleasant and we’ll certainly return"

We were just on a drive to the coast and felt hungry after looking at TripAdvisor noticed that the toad was nearby. So pleased that I booked. Food was great and well worth a visit. Must say the Apple and fig crumble was beautiful.

A lovely lunch in a nice atmosphere. The Toad was very quiet I think there was only one other table occupied while we were there. The food as good pub grub plenty of it and the staff were very friendly, helpful and chatty. Excellent service.
