"stay here for 2 nights made the mistake to take a big volvo through the front entrance it was simply unworn, there is a much easier wise when they turn the pub right and right again our debt for not asking. we had a superior room, so a parking space booked and was easily found how marked for us. check in easy and fast, nice comfortable room -21. we had dinner twice, which was beautiful, served quickly by attentive employees huge screaming after sylvia, who was born for hospitable, what a star, efficient, funny exceptionally attentive to all not lose them she is a massive asset. the breakfast is also beautiful. the magnificent atmospheric bar, all wrapped in a beautiful village, rushed to see no spirit that is wonderful to them for our Pre-Xmas trip."

3 Crowns. They do some pretty fancy cocktails. Yum Yum's next door has a happy hour though. And the best Baristas in London.

Large room with a nice vibe but expensive and a predictable menu.. The Sunday lunch is ok but could be more seasonal. The staff are pretty laid back and relaxed. All in all a good gastro pub but with illusions of being a restaurant. Voir le carte

not good since the changed meat supplier. the three crowns use to serve steak that was soon good, but since they have changed carnivores, eating is really bad. said waitress and could see when she told the chef that he didn't care! don't eat again and I've been eating for years. the workers are also hit and miss and do not seem to really care and much to ****.

big pub at the corner stoke newington high street and church street. a good selection of seats, they can choose between a standard dining table or sofas in the corner at the back of the pub. big bar so service is always fast and was always friendly. I tried the roast here several times and it can never disappoint. absolutely enormous portions I can never finish, but all others seem happy!

My only complaint is with the horseradish they serve. I like my horseradish HOT and unfortunately their creme fraiche with freshly grated horseradish doesn't quite hit the spot. Aside from this, it's a reliable option for a tasty Sunday lunch. The service is always speedy and friendly, they were playing some great fifties tunes and they have a few sofas you can lounge on post-roast if you're in the mood. Voir le carte

very pleasant pub, good atmosphere and much to do. under new management and service, which has greatly improved through our last visit, andrea were the new manager henry and tom all excellent and cared for us in the evening. starter and desserts good, but our main were a disappointment, pasta court with tomato and also haunting was soggy. menu overall could be improved with more choices instead of more options.

nightmare. for the New Year's Day I have booked in advance to explain to those who have called me that we would come and need a table for 6-8 people, I also explained that I was disabled and that I would need a table that would be easily accessible. we arrived and no table was ready, we were bundled to the back of the pub, not in the main restaurant area that I had asked to a table, where a whole page was inaccessible, as the people were sitting next to it, so it was impossible to sit our guests around the table. the table was also sticky and dirty and when we asked the waitress to clean it, she replied by telling us that it was not dirty, but was cleaned with the wrong cleaning...read more

"Gidleigh Park is a country house located in a wooden wally in Devon. It is quite hard to reach the place on a very narrow road, which is very beautiful, but apparently during the winter larger cars can’t even get there. Gidleigh Park houses a two-Michelin star restaurant with Michael Caines as the main chef (the restaurant was recently voted number 1 restaurant in the UK by the Harden’s Sunday Times Food List 2014). Gidleigh Park also has bedrooms (apparently all individual in style and design) and you can stay there for the night and then wonder in the gardens of the estate, which I saw some people doing when I was there. I was visiting Devon and my boyfriend chose Gidleigh Park for lunch on a Sunday and we took the long and narrow road to Gidleigh Park. The inside of the house was very old and had a lot of charm. It had eclectic art and antiques and different style rooms, the lounge had different tables, chairs and the bar was done up in a completely different style. Gidleigh Park showcased British charm and elegance. You could chose to have their signature sample menu for £140/ person, but instead we went for the much cheaper version, their lunch set menu for £44/ person for 3 courses (you could also have 4 courses for £57). Also note choosing dishes a la carte would set you back £115, so the lunch menu seems like the cheapest way how to enjoy Gidleigh Park. We did not have any wine, but apparently thy have an amazing wine cellar. The three course lunch menu included a small appetizer, a starter and a main course and you could choose from one of the 3 starters and one of the 3 main courses. Our appetizer was “goat’s cheese foam with beetroot jelly, candied walnuts and granny smith apple”, but as my boyfriend does not like goats’ cheese he had a tuna tartar as his appetizer which actually looked better than my appetizer. I was not to"
