"wow what can I say this place is an amazing curse for adults....its not a trinker pub .. omg the toilets wow immaculate. the first time ive uses flawless toilets and the smell beautiful....i know the first I think of the decor the ambiente and the cleanliness is the second to none. have all cozy beside the fire exactly what yiu need on a cold afternoon.a great choice of weeping and beer. Now, what can I say about the eating first class and worth money. seriously his awesome... my man had the steak I had the jägerhühnchen. it was carburized melt in mouth. well made to the chefs. I was here before his faveourite in the did we come from york. that is how much we love it. beware of all staff in front of the house and kitchen. there is never failed to deliver a gold mine. only a thought that the old scheune, which was playable, they thought to transform it into 2/3 rooms. would be a great place to stay and relax. fantadic places they see again."

An amazing location for a meal with the family, the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent as well as the service, the waitress was happy and made our experience worth coming back.

Came last week with the in laws which was great and again tonight with my mum and just sampled the new vegan menu. I am very impressed! Wonderful to finally have somewhere to go without the worry of nothing available on the menu. Lovely food and equally lovely staff, thank you

Lovely service and lovely food. Staff were genuinely friendly and made a fuss of our pooch, even got him a blanket to lay on. Fantastic attentive service just makes us come back again and again. Just got back from having a lovely meal at the Tawny Owl . As ever the service was excellent and the food delicious. I can thoroughly recommend the beetroot tart tatin , despite my being every chefs nightmare when it comes to how I like my steak , it was cooked to perfection . My husband had the salmon tart and Halibut , which he really enjoyed . Dessert was just right . An excellent meal all round .

I usually don't write reviews, but felt that I had such a nice time here today, I had to say that! service was excellent and the food...was at the point we ordered a sharing plate for our net and our gloomy and every bit was delicious. we were really pretty embarrassed when our waiter came past us 5 minuets after we laid down our deserts to see empty teller! would definitely recommend the Sharing plates if they were undecided!
