"We visited Va Bene for the first time last weekend and will definitely go again. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and shown to our table straight away. The staff were friendly and knowledgable about the menu and our food and drinks order were taken quickly. We had garlic bread to start which was honestly the best we’ve ever tasted. Food arrived quickly and was fresh, hot and tasted amazing. My husband had the seafood risotto which was loaded with fish compared to a few measly prawns that you get in most places. We were served by Emily who was smiley, efficient and clearly enjoys working there. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic place! Highly recommend."

"Arrived to a big car park that had plenty of spaces. The buildings looked well maintained and had a big welcome sign .It comprises of bar ,dining tables and new side building with about 45 covers. At the outside there were another 25 coves that offered illuminated dining al fresco with lovely views. Additional covers to be found in other building. All tables were clean well presented.in all nice location with good interior and exterior décor. On entry we were greeted by friendly staff. we were shown to our table and served our drinks quickly. Menus looked a bit worn and could be replaced. we ordered our food and had popadom x 4 sea food platter to share for starters, chicken tikka for main, prawn tikka for main with rice and naan bread. additional drinks and cocktail. All food was cooked correctly. tasted above average and fair value for money. Drinks were correct served properly in correct glasses. Music was just a little on the load side but not offensive. good choice of relaxing music. Internal décor was new and well done. Food portions were very good and we were not rushed to our next course. waiters were dressed tidy but NOT in same livery clothing. All were polite and checked on us during our meal. At end of meal we sat outside to see the lovely view of the countryside. The bill was £79.00 all in and worth a tip. i will be returning here and will recommend this restaurant to my friends. well done to all. we had a fantastic evening. Food very tasty."

"Just visited on Saturday 22nd April 2023 and as usual absoluetly perfect. So often when a restaurant is excellent, the staff and owners become arrogant and lazy. They assume people will continue to visit, no matter the quality of food or service and they allow standards to slip and forget about locals and regulars. This is certainly not the case with the Nailers Arms if anything it gets better every time we visit. We have been visiting the Nailers for about 15 years and have had many great meals here. We have had large parties for major family events and small parties just for us and everyone who comes with us, says what a gem of a restaurant and easily the best carvery they have ever had and believe me, they are fussy and wouldn't hesitate to say if it wasn't good. I can not recommend the Nailers Arms too much, as it delivers on every aspect. Great food, great service and a great atmosphere. The only negative is that the Waffle desert for 2, is too delicious and we end up arguing about who has eaten more !! My wife always digs right in and takes all the Brownie. In summary, this is a brilliant place for a Carvery and highly recommend, but always make sure you book as it is always busy. Can't wait for our next visit. We are also looking forward to trying The Swan to see if it is as good I already know what the answer will be !!"

"It's our 3rd visit at this pub we went 28.7.18 and sat outside by the stream as it was such a lovely day. We had our dog with us she sat under table where it was shaded. I had fish chips which was really lovely hub had chicken with veg and said his was nice and very filling. Service was excellent. Had ice cream after which was gorgeous as I said 3rd visit and have had lovely meals all times and can't fault the staff. Only one moan but northing to do with pub we had a man behind us who liked to hear his own voice who spent the time we were there moaning about his wife to an other couple who was on next bench behind us. He only went quiet when the wife rang him. Luckily for us he left so we enjoyed our puddings with out his moaning...Will be coming back.."
