"A brilliant pub! The service from booking onwards was great. We were kept informed with emails and calls for booking dinner and to confirm any extras we may have needed. Used the bunkhouse which was perfect for our 8 strong group; inexpensive, clean and with all the basic facilities we needed for our group. Andy and Jono were great in the bar; service was great and they couldn’t do enough for our big group. Food was served quickly despite being busy and was delicious pub food and the perfect accompaniment to the beer we had earned after the Yorkshire Three Peaks. We’ll be starting and finishing here in the future rather than the usual Horton commencement. A Yorkshire gem."

From arrival to departure the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. Great location and pleasant experience to stay. I’ll be back with my campervan when passing through next time.

Quite simply the best pub meal I've ever had! I ordered Liver bacon, which came with mash potato, delicious onion gravy and fresh mixed vegetables literally Heaven on a plate!! Thanks Chef! Quest service too from the bar staff!

Stated overnight in our motorhome with 2 other couples. A few beers followed by a great meal. Decided on breakfast the next morning, also really good. Congrats to Lindsey and the team for brilliant service and good banterhopefully we'll be back

Excellent meal after morning walk around the area. Very accommodating for the two dogs. All had different main courses and all were very good. Good size portions and all tasted very fresh. The cottage pie portion was enough for two! Draught beers also very good....
