". Myself and wife were on one of our usual breaks in London from Yorkshire and had recently heard about this pub. What we discovered was an oasis of calm in a traditional setting. The host Michael angelo was so genuinely friendly and made our visit all the better. We had Sunday lunch which was lovely. Having finished our lunch we were told by the host to stay, relax and enjoy our drinks. We thought this kind of service had long disappeared in London. We will definitely return and we cannot rate our experience highly enough."

A really great pub with a beautiful interior! The staff was super friendly, the camp was nice (full border) and we were both very impressed by the squid.

the best pub in london! we were looking for meatcakes and also found an amazing scavenger! also the brotpudding was of particular interest tonight. there are really good pubs in london, but this is my favorite!

a really nice pub. the staff are so nice, and it's a dog friendly place. I have to say that her Sunday roast is probably the best I had in london so far. I think the secret is the delicious gravy, they have to try.

It's an odd place in and among the many embassies, but it's a lovely pub. It's not to pricey concerning London prices and I can't think of many that are really cheaper, but the cask ale is excellent. The lager selection was good as well. The bartenders are more than willing to think of something to make sure you too can have a drink based on diet or religion. Can't speak for the food, but it seemed like people enjoyed it. It fills quick as well.

Booked a table for 7pm today and had a bite to eat and a game of Dominoes. Immediately given a very warm welcome and shown to our table. The drinks were well served with lots of choice. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and friendliness was perfect. What a wonderful place. Thank you to everyone who served us. Having managed pubs myself for many years previously, I was very impressed with all aspects of our visit. I think we've just found our new local.....
