The Stackpole Inn - Carte

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very nice, and the proximity to the restaurant was awesome!

Best pub in the area lovely food (best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time). Was way too full to try the apple crumble but a reason to come back quickly.

We have been tobthe Stackpole a few times for a drink but never to eat...until last night! Absolutely fabulous 3 course meal with a great bottle of wine. We had a really nice atmospheric table for 2. Great staff. We will definitely return to eat. Voir le carte

In late August 2023, we returned to this establishment for a meal, a year after our last visit while on holiday. The quality remained as impressive as it was a year ago. The staff were attentive, and the food was delicious and of high quality....

After seeing the restaurant on Hairy Bikers we were expected some great food. The staff were lovely as was the garden dinning area. The food was really not special at all and so making it rather over priced. My wife’s Peppercorn sauce was pretty tasteless...

Whilst the pub is cosy and inviting, my sister's leek and mushroom lasagne was totally unispiring and tasteless.Two hard, chewy sheets of leek sandwiching a pile of wild mushrooms mixed with fetta cheese. And the sauce? What was that? Hairy Bikers' recommendation or not, we... Voir le carte

Visited The Stackpole Inn today for Sunday lunch….. Food was incredible. Great size portions, extremely fresh and very well cooked and presented. Lovely family atmosphere. Staff were polite, friendly and very attentive. Very reasonable price which was an extra delight. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone.

I am so glad that we booked this pub for lunch and it didn’t fail to impress us. The food was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed with the fish being cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and although it wasn’t a busy time that we visited we really couldn’t fault our visit. In fact when leaving , we booked again for later in the week. Well done and Thank You.. You have a great pub !

Fourth visit, once during the summer, the last 3 for Mrs E's birthday. It never disappoints. The accommodation is clean cosy, and the food is always top-notch. Hearty, quality stuff with a really deft touch : testament to a wonderful chef. And the welcome is always friendly. A special mention to Ethan who is the epitome of hospitality : gracious, smiling and always on hand with a welcome recommendation. And such wonderful scenery on hand. What are you waiting for?
