"The Zen has always been one of our favourite restaurants we have been going for a few years. We have recommended this restraunt to lots of friends and family absolutely loved it. We went 3 weeks ago and wow what a disappointment, we always have the banquet we compared the pictures tp our last visit, the soup was half full and watery, the starter platter the chicken has shrunk, the mains the prawns are not as big as they used to be and the rice used to come with nuts raisins etc and this time it came plain in a small bowl. We left still hungry. I understand everything has risen in price but maybe put your price up rather than reduce the quality. I asked the waitress and she said we should of told them what rice we wanted...why would we when it's always been the same. Honestly we was not impressed and will not be returning, very disappointed. Great food served by excellent staff. The restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. Good choice of Thai, Malay and Chinese food. Good value for money.

Weather not great but glad love Zen best Chinese in St Annes. Had the Salt Pepper Squid which was so good really tasty June had the Pork Balls which she enjoyed had the Sizzler of Fillet Steak with Mushroom Garlic which was tasty I had Filet Steak Sizzler in Spicy Black Pepper Sauce boiled rice which was fantastic washed down with a bottle of Magners a Calypso Coffee excellent meal with fantastic friendly staff
