Immaculately cooked quality fish superb chips. The John Dory was exceptional, as it was a year ago. Couldn’t love this place more. Some of the most generous salads you’ll ever see. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, great atmosphere simple , well executed food. You couldn’t ask for much more.

The desserts were delightful, but don’t miss out on the walnut and Welsh whisky tart with cream—it’s absolutely divine, and people even call to reserve it! The staff is wonderfully friendly and work tirelessly, running up and down the stairs, so be sure to leave them a tip. The first time we visited a few years ago, we thought it was just as good as Rick Stein's restaurant. Our most recent visit last night did not disappoint; it was absolutely stunning. We started with fresh crab and scallops, which were delicious and perfectly portioned. For the main course, we had hake and halibut—the halibut must have been a substantial fish because my piece was a generous fillet. It was served with local potatoes, which are fantastic on their own. Everything was cooked to perfection, and we've already booked another visit for next week. They really know how to showcase their fish here!

The cod was enormous, and the chips were beautifully crisp, accompanied by a lovely tartar sauce. The cod itself was exceptionally tasty, cooked to perfection—flaky and delicate. Yum! The service was great too, provided by a woman named Ffion and a charming young man with dark curly hair, whose name we didn't catch. The only issue we encountered was that the portion of fish was so large that I couldn't finish it all. My partner took the plate to the counter to ask if we could get a doggy bag for our Afghan hound, Ayesha, to enjoy a tasty bite as well. The young woman working there looked a bit surprised when she saw him approaching the counter, probably thinking something was wrong with the... Voir le carte
