"The Shed is my top recommendation for a date night spot. This stylish restaurant is located in the innovative MetalBox Village in Goodsheds, Barry. The Shed offers a modern take on local ingredients and serves beautifully crafted dishes straight from their open kitchen. It's like having a meal and a show all in one! They also have a great selection of local gins from my favorite distillery in Cardiff. The gin is so good that they even use it in their cooking! Some of the dishes we enjoyed included rosemary and olive oil focaccia with handmade tomato butter, Cardiff distillery gin-cured smoked salmon with blood orange and pickled gherkin, crispy duck terrine with date puree and celeriac, pan-fried sea bass with new potatoes, asparagus, and broad beans, and sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and truffle and parmesan chips. The Shed is a shining example of the revitalization of the industrial district in Barry, and the perfect spot to impress loved ones, showcase local talents, and celebrate special occasions. Well done to Jim and Rhiannon for heading up the new team @shedbarry. Delicious dinner tonight (4/3/22), relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Unpretentious and welcoming. Thoroughly recommended! We will be back!

Good food but menu is limited. If looking for a good steak to share its the place to go, but it would be nice to see more options. My husband and I have been a few times and the menu hasnt changed and with it being london prices would except some variety in there. Voir le carte

Really impressed with this restaurant, fantastic food and superb wine list too. Recently attended an organised wine tasting evening there and we really really enjoyed it. I’ve visited this restaurant several times over the past year or so, but the recent changes in the team, the menu and the wine list is elevating the restaurant to new level, so good!
