Cracking place for fresh seafood, lovely wine and friendly service.

I love environment around the opposite and the waiter and waiter are very nice. eating there is a little expensive, but reasonable as eating is very delicious, especially the seafood plate.

We had an early Christmas dinner with our parents and it was absolutely superb! The food was outstanding arguably the very best fish restaurant in Cardiff and the staff were so lovely, we had such a lovely evening! Thank you so much!

excellent visit! this was one of the highlights at our visit to barry. first, the customer service is excellent. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. eating was amazing. we had both fish and chips and everything was cooked to perfection. we also loved the atmosphere.

if they like fish, this is one of the best restaurants in barry. we enjoyed the experience very much. the service is good with friendly and helpful staff. our food came quickly was well prepared and delicious. we will certainly continue to come and do not consider recommending it.

An excellent family restaurant. Welcoming from the moment we arrived. Beach-side atmosphere even in winter, yet cosy. Excellent cod and chips, cod with a herby crust and baked hake: fresh fish, decent portions, offset by simple yet tastey sauces and sides. Once course lunch without alcohol was a shade over £20 each. Definitely recommendable.

We had a lovely lunch here this week. We were warmly welcomed and received attentive service throughout. My husband and I had three courses. My starter was a really tasty roast fig with goats cheese, wrapped in prosciutto. As a main, my husband and I shared a whole Dover sole, which was fresh and delicious, together with chips and a bowl of veg as an extra. We’re happy that we went for the sweet, which was a great homemade Italian cherry and almond tart. We’ll definitely return!

I visited a friend for the weekend that lived in barry and we decided to have dinner in mr villa’s, as I really liked the view of the menu and the attractive facility of the restaurant. we were not disappointed, excellent service, delicious food, varied menu and good value for money, especially the course set menu that my friend enjoyed. it was a Friday night, but very quiet, without doubt because wales play on this evening frankly in cardiff. we were very happy though we had an excellent table through the window well separated for others diner and it was not loud (one of my pets hates). we had both fresh sardines to start some of the best we ever cost in a long time!
