Secret Garden Cafe - Carte

I took my husband out for a birthday breakfast and it was amazing. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I had a full English and a stunning coffee… Will definitely be back. Staff are polite and attention to detail amazing. 200% recommend….. Food was insane so yummy!!!!

Cute little cafe, with a very simple brunch menu. Everything was okay. Nothing blew us away. Pancakes weren't the best I've had and frozen fruit was used for toppings. Best part was the sausage that came with the full brunch. Slightly overpriced for what it was. Voir le carte

Read the reviews but they must be fake. Nicely decorated.....with great coffee but the breakfast was overpriced, overcooked and ridiculously tiny portions. Service was ok at best. Overall just can't recommend it, much better places. Shame really, has lots of potential.

Everything was exceptional start to finish. lovely welcoming atmosphere, proper coffee tasted delicious, the breakfast was perfectly cooked and tasted incredible and the service was impeccable if I could add more positive adjectives I would, 5 stars isn't enough. I will 100% be back for more.

I was disappointed with the restaurant. The coffee was good and the waitress was lovely, but the portion size was small and the bread was not as thick or homemade as I expected for the price. The mushrooms were thinly sliced and the cheese was tasteless and lukewarm. I had heard good things about this place, but I don't think I would go back. It's a shame. Voir le carte

Saw this place came out as best breakfast in Newport, on Trip Advisor, so thought we’d give it a go. We weren’t disappointed. Service was great, staff were attentive but respectful of space. Food was great quality, the price reflects the quality of the produce used. Coffee was also to a high standard. Well worth a visit, so pleased we found this fab little place

I have no complaints about The Secret Garden Café. The aesthetic of this café has always been one of my favorites. It's a tranquil oasis in my opinion. The staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast I chose was excellent, with the perfect ratio of mushrooms to garlic. If you haven't visited The Secret Garden Café yet, I highly recommend doing so on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, as they will have a late license starting at 6pm, providing an intimate setting for cocktails and bar snacks.

Me and my partner visited The Secret Garden yesterday and were too late for breakfast but in time to see people receiving what looked like superb cooked breakfasts. They’d sold out, but that wasn’t a problem my partner had a delicious burrata caprese salad, and I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was a generous, substantial serving for both of us so we were glad we arrived hungry. I live in Cardiff, where we are spoiled for great cafes and restaurants, and The Secret Garden is a match for any of them.
