Excellent evening with good food and friendly staff. Sat outside with great view towards the pier. Very efficient staff, had to order food at bar not table, but it arrived quickly and was delicious. Good visit on a balmy evening.

Closed kitchen half and hour early on a Saturday evening when they gave us menus and allowed us to order and pay for drinks. Outside was full of dirty tables with dirty plates that hadn’t been cleared for some time. Food and cutlery over the floor and dirty toilets: would not recommend

I absolutely adore coming to this delightful restaurant. The location and views are breathtaking. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the grilled pear, stilton, and walnut salad, as well as the local faggots. The ambiance is wonderful and the staff are fantastic. Voir le carte

Burger patties allegedly steak, but rubbery, rough and lots of lumps of gristle. The salad that accompanied was pointless, although the chips were good. Got overcharged for kids meal deal when we only had the main. I 'm assuming it was accident by incompetent staff. I wouldn 't waste your money.

The restaurant is located in a fantastic spot on Clevedon's seafront. There is plenty of outdoor seating with beautiful views overlooking the marine lake and Bristol Channel. The interior of the restaurant is comfortable, and they offer delicious food at reasonable prices. Additionally, there is a large bar where you can enjoy a meal, grab a drink, and have a great time.

We stopped by this restaurant on a whim after a walk in the area. The staff quickly found us a table for our group of 4. We all ordered the Sunday roast and it was amazing! The beef and pork were delicious, the potatoes were perfect, and the vegetables were incredibly fresh. The desserts were also fantastic! The staff was very friendly and we would definitely come back. Visited this evening with my other half. Arrived at 8pm and whilst getting drinks asked one of the lads on bar what time they serve till to ensure we didnt order go late. Was informed 9pm but best to get order in by 8.45pm. No problem. Took menu back to table and we decided what to have. Went inside to order to find a food service closed sign on till order point. I get its hot and staff are working hard but at least ensure staff know food service time. I wouldn 't of minded but I had only asked 20 mins prior! Won 't return or recommend. Menu wasn 't impressive and very basic

Lovely sunny day out at Clevedon after a nice stroll along the front decided to call in at the Salthouse with friends for lunch, as the weather was sunny thought we may have a problem with seating outside but that was not an issue there was plenty of seating, we chose our meals from the menu and went inside to order our meals and drinks the only minor issue i had was that after waiting in the queue to order our meals we then had to join the queue at the bar to order our drinks. We never had to wait long for our meals to arrive they were hot well presented on the plate and very well cooked and a full plate full i cannot fault them, i would return again for another meal my compliments to the c...

We met friends from Devon for lunch on Sunday 17th September and The Salthouse did us proud. Our guests were a little late, due to the awful weather and being first time visitors to Clevedon. but the staff were very welcoming and patient at a very busy time for them. The carvery was delicious and plentiful, with a lovely selection of vegetables and the service was great. Not The Salthouse 's fault but, due to the terrible weather and being late, our visitors parked in the main Clevedon car park in error but their 'phone picked up Ringo 's app which they paid but they were given a parking ticket.
