"While staying at the nearby Little Gaerfields Holiday barn, we decided to order a takeaway roast dinner and pudding for 13 adults and 5 children on Sunday, September 24. The meal included options for both vegetarian and gluten-free guests. The food was delicious, with tender meat, generous servings of vegetables, and lots of flavorful gravy. A great pub. Our visit was for a group of golfers looking for good food and cask ale. Though the pub is out of Monmouth it is worth travelling too. Food was just what we wanted and good value too. Staff looked after us a d served with a smile a d good banter.

We had Sunday roast today and it was amazing. The food was beautifully cooked, generous portions and lashings of tasty gravy. This was followed by an excellent apple crumble and custard. Wow...home cooked roast was superb The cauliflower cheese was served in a lasagne size dish, gorgeous roasties, Yorkshire puds, roasted veg tender cooked meat. We couldn't fault it.
