I visited for a delightful Sunday dinner and, despite the old-fashioned decor, I wasn't disappointed at all. The food was excellent, and the staff were fantastic.

Sunday 16th January Fabulous Sunday Lunch, food was served hot and tasted amazing. My girlfriends and I all had something different and we all enjoyed each dish served. The service was outstanding there was always a friendly face near by waiting to help or take another drinks order. I was celebrating a belated birthday and was given a bottle of Prosecco to share with my friends which was a lovely touch Thanks to all the team yesterday

Food and drinks were excellent, high quality and really tasty. Our server Amber was so lovely and helpful, as were the other staff who served us. On arrival we waited for about 5-10 mins before being seated for our booking but it was clear they were short on staff so we understood and didn’t mind at all. Amber apologised for the wait on drinks which again, wasn’t a problem for us. We had a really nice time for a casual Wednesday dinner and will definitely be back. Voir le carte

The Rose and Crown in Kings Langley is the perfect pub for a friendly outing, whether you want to enjoy the outdoors or have an intimate dinner in the cozy, well-furnished interior. The establishment exudes a charming rustic ambiance. The food is absolutely amazing, with delightful flavors in every dish that made my taste buds soar. Each plate was beautifully presented, a true testament to the chef's skill. The staff were friendly and very polite. I highly recommend it and will definitely visit again.

food good I had mushrooms on toast as starter delicious! I had coconut curry and some had beef-red dinner. Coconut curry was spicy with long red chili. bark meat was a bit on rare side, but vegetables were very well cooked. chocolate bombe was a manifestation! if you have to visit the toilets, they are for a trek! on a staircase flight to the right of the reception to a land area, a few steps down and then to a corner and up one step or two in the toilets. if they are a disabled person, their toilet is much easier to reach, left of the bar and on the back of rooms. they need their RADAR keys, although the employees have one when they forget their. We had an extremely disappointing experience during our recent visit. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the restaurant was understaffed and chaotic. Despite adding specific notes to our booking, these were ignored. The manager appeared stressed and unhelpful, and the lack of organisation was evident throughout. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order, and we had to remind them to place our food order as well, which eventually arrived over an hour and a half later. Throughout the lunchtime and into the late afternoon, the staff repeatedly mentioned being short-staffed and a chef down.
