Sauce obviously defrosted as it was swimming in liquid and a split consistency. Prawns chewy and ' fishy ', chicken was also dry and chewy. Terrible food. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40

Came here yesterday with family for my dad's birthday. The staff had put up birthday banners for us around the table. Best Indian restaraunt I've been to in a long time, food was the best and service was absolutely amazing. Thank you to the waiter that served us. Will definitely be returning! Voir le carte

Went for meal , food was hot and tasty place was virtually empty for Saturday night which was a shame , friendly staff , all around good value meal . Waited over two hours for a delivery. When the food did eventually arrive it was very bland, onion bhajis small burnt and tasteless, looked as if they came from a budget supermarket and not authentic as you would expect from an Indian restaurant. The burger was overcooked and burnt. There is no excuse for serving burnt food, especially when paying for a meal. We had originally planned to bring our family to this restaurant, but after this experience, we have no intention of returning. There are plenty of other good restaurants in the area where we can enjoy better quality food. The service and atmosphere were average, with a rating of 2 out of 5 for both. The price per person for lunch was within the range of £30–40.

The food at this restaurant was too sweet. We ordered chicken grill and Kulcha Naan Egg Masala, but they were not spicy as we requested. The staff mentioned that the food is meant to be sweet and not suitable for Asian taste buds, despite being an Asian restaurant. We were disappointed with the flavor and felt like we wasted £40. The poor food quality has led us to decide to never return. We do not recommend this restaurant, especially for Indian customers. The service was for dine-in.

We have been loyal customers of this restaurant since it opened, but unfortunately, our recent experiences have been very disappointing. My usual order of Chicken Makhani, which I always enjoyed for its unique flavor, did not meet my expectations as the dish lacked the delightful mango chunks I had come to love. My husband also noted that his meal was bland. We have dined in and ordered takeout in the past, but this time the food just did not impress us. It was a shame to see the restaurant empty on a weekend evening. River Cross used to be our preferred local Indian restaurant, but we will be exploring other options in the future.
