We went here a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my Mums birthday. Thank you for an amazing lunch and for managing such a large group so well. We had a great time delicious food, great service and lovely atmosphere. All the best

Exceptional food home made on premises. Friendly and welcoming staff and host Simon. Very accommodating and open to adapting menu to our preferences and likes. Highly recommend great location and beautiful surroundings.Dog friendly a plus.

Our first visit to The Rising Sun and it was well worth the wait. Lovely atmosphere, food was perfect and the service was spot on. You won’t find many better restaurant in the area. Oh, and the walk home was an added bonus across the levels on a crystal clear night. Voir le carte

One of those places where I wish I could award 6 stars. Lovely, welcoming pub, super friendly and helpful staff, lovely fire in the winter and to top it off the food is amazing. It's apparent that a lot of care and attention has gone into the whole menu. Terrific pub.

We had a fabulous meal here last Saturday. The food is Michelin star quality at a very reasonable price, the venue is a wonderfully atmospheric beamed pub/restaurant and the service is perfect the very kind waitress even brought dog biscuits and a blanket for my terrier to lie on. We have already booked to go back soon...
