We had a wonderful family meal at this restaurant. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was quick. We couldn't find anything to fault about this place! All the kids enjoyed their meals as well, and there was a great selection of options, even for our picky eaters.

"The Sunday roast at this restaurant was disappointing. We had to wait over 30 minutes past our reservation time and the restaurant was very busy. The staff was lovely and apologetic, offering us a complimentary drink. However, when we finally received our meals, they were not worth the wait. The meat was okay, the vegetables were undercooked, and the roast potatoes were not crispy and hard to cut. The entire meal was cold. Despite the issues, we decided not to complain as we didn't want to wait longer and didn't think they could improve it without recooking everything. The staff seemed overworked and tried their best, but it's not worth it to have offers if the restaurant is overbooked and can't provide a decent meal. We won't be returning for the Sunday roast and will opt for the Wilford Bridge instead, as it offers a much better experience."

"we were on a short break in woodbridge and this restaurant was opposite our apartment. the menu was so diverse and interesting, many new curries we had not tried before. the service was fast, staff was very friendly and helpful, but above all, eating was exceptional, really amazing, it is the best curry I ever had. we went back to the next night to try another dish than we enjoyed it so much. I'm so horrified that if I want to go again, it's an hour drive for me! I would like to return to woodbridge to visit the royal bengal again."

"I highly recommend this restaurant! I visited with my wife and our two children, ages 7 and 3, for a family outing during the Easter holiday. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. The bar area is dog-friendly, and there's a fantastic beer garden with views of the river, though we didn't use it because it was a bit chilly. The food was exceptional, definitely worth paying a little extra compared to their average pub menu. We will be back soon!"

"I had not been here for a year or so based on my very average food experiences in the past so I thought it was time to try it again. Mistake! Nothing has improved, just the prices have gone up. All the food is average quality at best, desserts pricey and, honestly, barely average. There are lots of other places to eat in Woodbridge and Melton and i would definiteley advise try those first."

"Took visiting friends here as we've usually had a good experience. We were told there was a 20.minute wait for food but it actually took 45 minutes for our sandwiches to arrive. By that time we'd finished our drinks so ordered more drinks (cold ones, they only had to grab bottles from.the fridge) but they forgot to bring them. It's a great spot but they didn't have enough staff on. If they'd had more staff then they could have fitted two tables into the time it took for us to be served we were only having a (supposedly) quick sandwich lunch but were there for over an hour. They did apologise for the long wait when they finally brought our food, but no apology for forgetting the drinks. Hopefully this us a one off so I will give them another chance"
