"had a fantastic meal for the 8 of us here in this stunning pub restaurant in piries they simply put the carfax off. really nice atmosphere over the place and our server, alison, could not do enough for us and was so friendly helpful. I had the baked Saint-Marcellin cheese as starter and was very delicious. rindmeat bourguignon as main course and again very tasty. large selection of drinks and I had the fresh pilsner urquell from the tanks that was magnificent. outside the dining area was especially great in the evening with the fairy lights etc. each recommend for a beautiful meal."

Impromptu roast after a walk over Denne hill. All staff super friendly, the dog was made very welcome and the roast was scrumptious.

Without a doubt, it was a 5-star experience. The food was delicious, and the staff was fantastic. I would highly recommend it. The Virgin menu was a great choice from the main menu.

I had a wonderful and relaxed experience at this bar and restaurant. The drinks and food were of excellent quality, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. The cocktails were fantastic, all set in a stylish atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again!

Fantastic evening . The restaurant is beautifully decorated throughout and there is a really friendly buzz. Our food was outstanding chicken , sticky beef and beef and ale pie. Our waitress Jade couldn’t do enough for us and was so smiley and attentive. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

I only go on Tuesdays for the bachata classes, and it is so fun. The teachers are super nice and everyone is simply there to have fun. Students get 10% off drinks too Fyi the class starts at 7:15pm to about past 9, which is then followed by the socials where you can dance freely and practice what you've learned. #TequeiroTuesday Voir le carte

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and had an amazing meal. The food was fantastic, and the fresh Pilsner Urquell tank beer was excellent—though I did enjoy a few too many to make sure I got home safely! The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt very safe. Great job all around; we will definitely be coming back!

fantastic! I booked a table for four here on a recommendation that they had a good vegan menu for a friend who celebrated their 80th birthday. the menu was really varied and worth a good one. the food we had was absolutely perfect. I hadn't changed anything. the place was clean and welcoming, good decoration and lots of space between tables. there was a good mood of lively chat and laugh, but it wasn't too loud. the staff was so friendly and very attentive. I just booked for my own high-time anniversary and looked for others to go back. highly recommended.

"My mother and I had been following the Masterchef Pro comp ' last year and were really keen to sample some of the winner, Tom Hamblet 's, food. We travelled a 4 hour round trip for the experience. We don 't eat at fine dining restaurants often but we are foodies. Firstly, the setting of the restaurant is very lavish and comfortable with warm low lighting. That said, the dinner experience was a little too dark for my mother so that 's something to think about if you struggle with eyesight and low lighting. The service was friendly, attentive and speedy/efficient. The food: I 'll start with the dessert because that was a real pleasure for us. We both loved the flavours of Tom 's end of series winning dessert so the meal ended on a high (we ordered the Olive Oil sponge with lemon curd). I recommend not ruining your palette with the overly sweet petit four that are placed in front of you following dessert unfortunately ours were more sugar flavoured than any other identifiable flavour. Our starters and mains were very VERY underwhelming. They arrived looking beautiful, neat and tidy but failed to deliver on taste. I had wanted the celeriac themed starter but the waiting staff told me the vegan/veggie starters and mains were created by their head chef and not Tom. That was disappointing as his 3 month residency was the reason we 'd visited the restaurant. We ended up both having the lobster starters after the waiting staff recommended it highly as either a starter or an additional dish to share. The claw meat was minimal and tough and the foam mousse took centre stage on the plate. Whilst the plate had lots of textures to it, we felt it was unbalanced and generally with no 'wow ' to it. We enjoyed the coffee and rye bread with butter and pollen/fennel that came prior to this thought. I ordered the Guinea Fowl as a main after the waiter described it as a gamey, dark and tender meat. I feel like a better description to someone that hasn 't had guinea fowl before would be 'it 's like a chicken breast with a different flavour '. This is what arrived in front of me and I actually found it was quite dry and not dark at all! I would never have ordered anything that resembled chicken breast anyway so I felt ill informed about my choice. I also thought the girolles were overwhelmingly tart. I didn 't enjoy my main. Mum 's Hogget was nice but average for her too. Last comment I 've never in my life paid £6.50 for less than 1.5ltrs mineral water beware! I don 't care how much money you have it 's water!!!"
