"We had booked a table for and were seated downstairs, we placed an order for drinks and the waitress was gone as soon as we had said which bottle of wine, with no option to order anything else (like water). After the wine was...brought to the table we waited for someone to take our food order, no one came to take the food order until (after being called over). They were very apologetic and comped the wine, but the experience was kind of ruined at that point. The starters and main courses were delicious, as were the cocktails. The deserts were not great, dishes which are normally very enjoyable with odd ingredients added, to make them more unique, but which just made them unpleasant. This was a very different experience to any I’ve had here before."

A nice place to go for a treat of a meal out, amazing food and menu selection. Great service and a lovely cosy setting sat upstairs in the restaurant.

Very pleased with our experience, the food tasted great and staff were very accomodating. Kieron took care of us well and made excellent Caipirinhas/cocktails.

We visited two times and had 2020 October new season menu. Foods are always good, but every time beverage is changed although I ordered same menu. Plz fix one recipe

Fantastic food, great service and somewhere we will definitely return to on future visits to St Andrews. Staff were very friendly and professional and I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

we had a really nice meal in the rav in st andrews. the personal was incredibly friendly and the cocktails were amazing! I especially liked the “Once upon a Time” can highly recommend. I will definitely be back at my next visit in st andrews

Having a lazy day we stopped in at the Rav for initial coffee, they were short of space but we were offered the balcony which was fantastic. Having seen the food at the tables we had lunch. Staff were excellent and food was out of...this world. Highly recommended its a must visit

first visit, welcomed by friendly staff, in the window overlooking the north street with the beautiful church. we ordered hand-dipped scallops, and 2 flat iron steaks with fries, with an additional house salad. the bottle chenin blanc, our steaks were cooked on request, and delicious, great atmosphere and a luvly quirky restaurant, will be back at the next visit in st andrews:
