We recently visited a rustic village pub in Salisbury for a family meal. The service was friendly and we were served by one of the young ladies. The cozy atmosphere, with a roaring fire, made for a delightful dining experience. The food was delicious, although slightly on the expensive side. We would definitely consider returning for a special occasion.

This charming little country pub is a gem! We stopped in for lunch after a morning appointment with my daughter and were blown away by the delicious food. The ploughman's platter was fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from. My daughter also enjoyed her mac n' cheese. The desserts were heavenly as well. The outdoor seating areas were beautifully decorated, and there was a lovely play area with climbing frames that kept my daughter entertained. Overall, a wonderful atmosphere and highly recommended!

Dropped in on the way back from somewhere today on the off chance they had a table and, very fortunately, there was. However, if you are considering eating here, I strongly recommend booking ahead, either on the phone, or through the website. This is an extremely popular pub and the odds of getting a free table are slim. The service is extremely good and the food is astonishing. We both had mains and puddings. The portion sizes are enormous, but more importantly, the quality of the food far outstrips what you may be expecting from a country pub. Value for money here is off the chart. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We will be going again. Often. Voir le carte
