The Queen's Head - Carte

The staff were polite and friendly.The environment was nice. The steak they served me was terrible. It was the toughest steak I’ve ever been served.It felt uncomfortable to complain.I hope this was a one off.

Amazing food lovely menu to suit everyone. We had the two steaks and drink special. Steaks for amazing and cut like butter choice of either salad or chips big thanks to all the staff and our waitress Abbie. sorry no photo we tucked in and polished it off before remembering

Allways excellent food but on this occasion we wait 1 and a half hours for food.we where second in the que people we didn't even recognise got the food before us .we asked a few time just keep say it's on its way.was very disappointed in this visited this place on many occasions .great food thou. 5 of us sat in the beautiful garden/ court yard for a birthday lunch. It was so relaxing. We only waited about 30 minutes for our food which was less than I expected as there were quite a lot of diners. 3 had flat breads, one had ribs and I had a small fish chips. The food was delicious with generous portions chips to die for. Highly recommended.

The Owners, Tim and Georgia and the manager Ethan and staff and locals make you feel very welcome. The service is great and the food from chef Ben was excellent. They accommodated a group of us at short notice. It was so good that large group of us came back the next night. Live music on Friday night. Make sure you ask after Tom (the local). Tells some great stories.

Called in on a Monday night for dinner with my lad. Staff were attentive and welcoming. I ordered garlic tiger prawns but as I'm not eating bread at the moment I asked if I could have salad instead of the ciabatta which was no problem at all. My lad ordered the texan pizza which looked fantastic when it arrived. My prawns were delicious and we both really enjoyed our food. Great place, lovely friendly staff and very tasty food. We arrived 1st night, no booking, Australia Over 60’s cricket team visiting to play England, 18 for dinner and they couldn’t have welcomed us anymore than they did, lovely meals, great atmosphere, it was so good we went back the next night, this time 30 of us, we pre ordered to make it easier on Tim and team and the night was a great success, meals, drinks and live music for us to have a fabulous night, couldn’t praise them any higher.

Very disappointed. We ordered a bottle of Merlot we were told they didn't have a full one but had one with a bit out! obviously we declined that and chose an alternative. After we ordered we waited an hour for four meals there were only two other tables in at the time. both me and my mum chose the seafood linguini. It was awful it contained frozen fish and honestly you had to rummage through the pasta to find any. My sister had the gammon and it was dry. Only one member of staff was on very young and was doing everything. Very polite but we wouldn't recommend eating here

We had our wedding party at the Queens Head last week and it was absolutely fantastic. Tim and Jorja and their amazing staff team went above and beyond to make sure our afternoon/evening went without a hitch. The food was amazing, everyone raved and are still raving about it, the staff were so attentive and the decorations and surroundings looked fabulous. The rain came down mid way through the party so the majority had to move inside but I hardly noticed as everything was done for us, so quickly. Everyone that was there was blown away about the fabulous pub, staff and food and we can’t thank you enough for making it all so special for us. Voir le carte
