Village Pub Grill - Carte

The venue was chilly and quite noisy. I wouldn't choose the pub grill area for lunch again unless it was just to watch sports and have a drink.

Ended up there during a live football game. Noise was horrendous, the atmosphere even worse. Rather would have gone to the “street corner” pub..

The service was prompt and the staff was friendly. However, the portion sizes were quite small for the price, even though the food was flavorful.

We knew the seating was in the bar but I don't class a sports bar as a good environment to enjoy a meal. Waitress was lovely but service slow. Menu very poor selection. Main course good. Desserts very poor value. Noise levels meant we were glad to get out.

We were waiting over 1hour to order all the order was all mixed up 1 dinner was missing We had to remove all our finished plates glass,s cutlery ourselves So we could order some sweets for the children and then 1 was left out again Horrible night to say the least no I will not be goin back there. Very poor use to be a great place to have food with lovely restaurant they have now had a Re-fit and it’s terrible it was like the Wild West in their A whacky warehouse gone wrong. The staff where no where to be seen. No one to greet you to your table. Was terrible will not be returning Village hotel please don’t ruin any of the others venues as you got this one wrong

The ambiance was pleasant, but the presence of a large, rowdy crowd—mostly men watching football—was quite distracting at times, making it hard to hold a conversation without raising our voices. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend this venue for a family Sunday lunch. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and it was well-designed and beautifully decorated. The desserts were delightful, although they were a bit pricey, much like the drinks.

I booked a table through OpenTable and was disappointed by my experience. The restaurant only offered a set menu with limited choices. The chicken skewers were tough and the sauce tasted artificial. The quality is a far cry from what it used to be, but I suppose someone has to foot the bill for the renovations. Unfortunately, there were three couples ahead of us, and it took over two hours to receive our food. I would recommend going to Ashton Moss or The Harvester next door instead; they offer good quality food and decent options at half the price. Overall, I'm quite disappointed! Voir le carte
