while the service can be a little slow, eating is totally worth waiting. the hamburger is particularly good and the artisan beer are exceptional. I'd go back totally.

So, first let us talk about the restaurant itself. I love places that are a little quirky and different and the pottery shed’s decor is just how a huge shed with tons of plants and wooden benches with hocker, its quite cool. they have a lot to two cocktails.

Creative is what pops in my head to describe this Place . I absolutely love the trending rustic decor they have , they know the business in and out . The food was absolutely fantastic , looked and tasted lovely and the service was quick too . Overall great place and one of my favorite in Edinburgh.

it wasn't my first visit to the potting shed after I had visited shortly after the opening. Since then, both the menu and the interieur have had a refreshment, so it seemed time for another to visit. I was with this quest by lea, with which I had previously sat in this neighbourhood in north. on the day they can choose from three different menus: a lunch for a five selection of a daily changing fish, veggie or meat dish; a pub-grub menu with half dozen familiar things like fish n chips and burger; or their pasture menu, which tries to provide balance to their on-trend selection of beers on tap, the number of twenty in Voir le carte

Things are definitely looking up again. After a rather tricky few months following surgery, it’s nice to be able to get out and about a bit again. Mum and I stopped in for an impromptu lunch at The Potting Shed a couple of weeks ago (on the way to The Scottish Juniper Festival at Summerhall) and I was really happy with the quick, tasty well-priced lunch we enjoyed. A few years back this had been my ‘pet bar’, as the Innis Gunn pop-up bar which we ran for the summer of so I have a real nostalgic love of this place. The potting shed have a new menu yay! Their food is really interesting with a huge choice of smaller tapas sized dishes including grilled squid with chilli and pineapple, lamb loin with wild garlic, confit duck leg with purple potatoes, corguette fritters and much more. All priced between and they suggest per person. They still have a long list of craft beers though the wine is a bit pricey. Only reason this wasn't a higher mark was that we ordered the cheeseboard that turned up with crusty end pieces that looked like they had been on the side for hours. They were not nice. We ordered some cocktails whilst we perused the menu. We both plumped for a rhubarb and ginger mojito, which was served in a jam jar with a handle. The food menus suggest plates each, providing food very much in the tapas style. So, I ended up going for whitebait with lime and coriander mayo; kimchi radishes; salt baked carrots, beets and goats curd and confit duck with bacon, potato and samphire.
