Visited without a booking. Food was lovely and decent prices. Serving staff were really good and made this a fantastic experience. Well worth a visit

Went here on Sunday 6th March with some friends have to say the lunch was superb! Atmosphere is relaxing and very friendly. The cocktails were fab as was the wine all reasonably priced. The gravy is just the best!! Decor is amazing. Would highly recommend...this stunning restaurant.

we ate here twice last week, while on a mini break after laugharne. such a quirky restaurant with a great menu and inviting atmosphere. the food selection was very good, I am a picky eater, but easily found things that I liked and that eating was nicely cooked....Will definitely visit once again a day... thanks.

We stopped by without booking and were given a wonderful warm welcome. We enjoyed a superb Sunday lunch, three of us opted for the beef which was cooked to perfection and beautifully pink. One of our party had the turkey and cleared their plate. Huge...portions of veg and gravy, all cooked and presented well. The drive down from Cardiff was well worth it, can't wait to return. We attended with 2 friends. Considering Tripadvisor reviews we were expecting something special. We were very disappointed. Dark, dingy and tried room that could have been cleaner. The food was mediocre and poorly presented. At 19:30 some menu items were unavailable' I got the impression...that some meals were plated up ready to be warm and served not specifically prepared for the customer.

I and my man stayed for the weekend in st. clears. we saw portreeves when we were looking for places to eat near where we were. after the phone and booking a table at the arrival we had a warm greeting, and while people walk past and say hello. eating was amazing, the frying dinner was really delicious and the yorkshire puddings were made like the bigmothers. in any case back. sara steve phillips pontypridd

this is a friendly relaxed pub with good value eating. we enjoyed a very good Sunday dinner that was a good portion for the price that was £13.50 per head. the bark was very well cooked and the pig was also excellent. the cauliflower...cheese was very nice, like the bratkartoffeln and there was much serious. we were too full for a dessert, but my wife enjoyed a beautiful glass Portuguese red. it would have been nice if it had been a local beer in the offer, but others that the service was good and the pub busy.
